Dar Chamaa

I have to reiterate what other reviewers have said ... location, location, location. What a shame this lovely little take on a kasbah is located so far from everything interesting. The neighborhood appeared too sketchy for us to be comfortable roaming about at night, so we didn't, which resulted in a lackluster evening. Our room on the top floor was lovely, with a great view, and its own private terrace. The pool area is neat as a pin, but much too cold to take advantage of it.

This is a lovely road in the heart of the Sahara. They do a great job sourcing comfort despite being in an area where access seems to be limited to many things. Clean, comfortable, lovely breakfast and dinner and outstanding hospitality! Cannot go wrong staying here if you are staying overnight in the desert!

What a beautiful Riad! From the moment we stepped inside it felt like an oasis of attentiveness and beauty all around! First off we were welcomed by the manager, lovely mint tea and snacks in their welcome room. The staff is so very attentive and helpful , their commitment to making you feel like royalty is all there! We had a spacious room with a balcony overlooking the pool and backyard area … what a gorgeous sight! Very clean and comfortable, I loved exploring their grounds. Dinner was Absolutely delicious food , it melts in your mouth and service was excellent! I am very grateful and thankful for everything and everyone at Dar Chamaa for this wonderful stay.

They served us tea when we arrived. The 3 course dinner was delicious especially the soup. One of the few places that serves alcohol. Clean rooms and a beautiful outdoor pool and sitting area. Breakfast as well.

Great pool where we spent the morning before returning to Marrakech. We stayed in their new building just across a small road which I suspect could be a bit quieter than the original building. Only gripe was breakfast buffet which was a bit chaotic and the cold eggs.

Astonishing place in the outskirts of Ourzazate. We had an amazing time here: the place is simply extraordinary, with extreme attention put on every small details. The pool is glorious, the rooms are clean and spacious and the dinner was really good. Everyone was extremely kind and professional. The place is outside of Ourzazate, so you will need a taxi to get to the city center, but you’ll probably find you won’t want to go there: this place is just too good to leave!
