Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Duinzicht

It was a great choice for our weekend away. Friendly staff, clean room (suite). An excellent hotel for visits to the beach and other outings.

The welcome was really not warm; I think the lady had a very bad night. We had booked a suite, but neither the room nor the bathroom got warm. When we filled the bath, we noticed that the cap was broken and the water was draining away. Ultimately we had to move from a room where the bath was not leaking, but we were not really warm. The suite is not really worthy of the name suite, better book a regular room. Except for a double bath, there is nothing extra. Not such a positive experience, not worth repeating.

Very nice looking hotel, well maintained and superbly decorated for the Christmas period. It is located near the main beach. The staff at reception are welcoming, smiling and available. We benefited from an offer with. Breakfast and dinner for 2 people. The dining room is spacious, we don't eat right next to the neighbor's plate. The rooms are clean, well appointed as well as the bathroom be careful however, I think we were in an economical room on the 2nd floor without elevator... No problem for us but the stairs are quite steep, so be careful for some people. Breakfast is one of the hotel's strong points, with plenty of choice and variety. For dinner, we had selected a Spanish wine from the Fletcher vintage and with no regrets. Then comes the negative point of our stay... 3 young women (girls) take care of the reception and the service. We are kindly welcomed for dinner, the table we choose is not clean, we wait... The young girl brings us the cards, I point it out to her and she reacts directly. We order an aperitif which takes a long time to wait... Finally my husband sees our tray, goes to the bar himself and his ice cubes are melted in his rum.... He asks for more ice cubes, but disappointment , the rum has taken on the taste of water 😞 The young girl notices that we have come for the drinks and brings us the wine, there, surprised, she presents us with white wine... After explanations she finds it and brings us the right bottle. The dishes arrive directly, brought by the chef to whom we point out that we have neither cutlery nor napkins... The meal finished, no reaction and it is us who ask that the table be cleared... We finish the meal by a coffee pusher, nothing to report for this part. We ate well and had a lovely weekend, we will surely return but what a disappointment in the face of this poor management due to inexperienced and disorganized staff....

Beautiful, well-maintained hotel. Nice spacious room, with coffee and tea facilities. Beautiful bathroom with bath and shower! Good restaurant. Delicious breakfast! Friendly service and customer-friendly reception. Beautiful environment! For our t****th visit and worth repeating!

The room was originally €74.5. She was no bigger than a hutch. Since I had an expensive bicycle, I wanted a different room, because the bicycle shed was accessible to everyone. Additional charge €18. The room was very hot, no air conditioning. The bed collapsed completely, the mattress was very worn. The WiFi also did not work properly. I had to download a GPX to continue my journey, so this did not work. What was positive: friendly staff and I had a good meal. Still a plus.
