We had a group booking at this hotel while attending a minor hockey tournament in London. Although a bit of a drive for the games, the hotel itself was excellent and I didn't mind the extra driving time. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. One great thing was that they had a designated hospitality area set up on the lower level by the pool so that we could gather and wouldn't be as disruptive to other guests. The common areas and rooms were clean, beds/pillows comfortable and the hotel was quiet (despite multiple teams staying that weekend). It was also conveniently located just off the highway and close to many restaurants and shopping. Definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Our car broke down on a road trip and this place was next door to the dealership. I had looked up the room rate from their own web site before walking over from the dealership but the front desk gave me a higher price when I tried to book a room. When I asked about the price difference she said that she couldn't match it and that I had to book it online. I seriously had to stand there and book the room online from my phone in front of them and wait for the reservation to cross to their system. You would think that they could match their own price from their own web site. The place is in the middle of a renovation so there wasn't a pool available. We were given a newly renovated room on the third floor. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was still available but a pared down version of what you would expect. No make your own waffles here. You also had to take all your food back to your room.

I can't say enough great things about this motel and its staff. From booking to check-out, our experience was amazing. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and updated and the bed was really comfortable. The grounds of this motel are pristine! All staff are consistently friendly and welcoming. We really appreciate such a wonderful place to stay with an incredible staff. Oh, and wait till you try the breakfast- so good!

During our stay, we were charged a total of 27 pet fees. After reviewing the policy with Choice Hotel we had found that the pet fee was to be charged per stay and not per night. We brought this up with the supervisor to which she had mentioned that she noticed this and confirmed that the staff was told to stop charging us the pet fee. The charging stopped by most employees, minus two, shortly before this conversation. We were also advised by Choice Hotels that the pet fee is to be charged per stay however everytime we went to extend out stay, staff and management included would rebook us which we also found out through Choice Hotels is not the way the extension is supposed to be done, this hotel was capitalizing off our stay by doing so as we were advised that when staying for long periods of times, rates drop as you extend. Our invoices were supposed to be looked over and made sure that we were retro paid for the pet fees however this like many other things never actually got looked into and we of course never heard anything from anyone. This is not because the supervisor did not keep her word however it was because upon getting copies of our invoices for around a 3 month stay, the pet fee charges were not all noted on the invoices. We were shocked to see that only 3 pet fees were documented. We kept a strict budget and kept track of all the times we were charged the pet fee. We once again notified front desk staff and the blonde girl who was working that night was confused herself knowing that we were charged more than 3 pet fees and even got into contact with management immediately (so we were told). There were only two staff members who continued to charge us the pet fee with one charging more often then the other. In total, we spent around $600.00 on pet fees and none but 3 of the pet fees are documented. When this was brought to management's attention - we were told that we were liars, our story didn’t add up, we should have brought this to their attention sooner etc. Management continued to talk over my partner and did not let him explain that both separate times we checked, on the first day when the pet fee should be noted on our invoices (if it was done the way they claimed to do so) as it was the start of our stay, it was NOT documented and was NOT included on our invoices despite it being our first day of either arriving at the hotel or when we returned 2 weeks after we checked out the first time. We paid cash for 95% of our stays and when we had asked about the cameras that are behind the front desk as we believe these pet fees were stolen, the management (who finally called after we checked out for good) got even more defensive. Which is not only completely unprofessional but leads us to believe again that our pet fees were stolen. If you are looking for a hot shower, or even a lukewarm shower during your stay. This hotel is not it. Hot water was always a hit or a miss during our stay but we would manage to sneak in a warm shower b

I had most tribble experience of whole my life in this hotel, I arrived after a 5 hours delays (caused by weather situation) and an incompetent person treated me unpleasantly unprofessionally. I'm a business traveler for past two decades and i know that there might some issues in matching companies hidden/tricky terms and conditions and what hotel defines therefore it's not new to me but the way that service desk treats guests was terrible. After sorting out that booking issue by myself ( they kept me idle in the lobby for 2 hours) by my tries and i get into my room i fund my room old, extremely musty, defective Curtin and The dust and surfaces felt clammy. you might believe or not, there was also couple of spider web on the window! my booking was for 9 days and after two days of request to changing my room (without any positive response) they asked me to leave hotel! Yes, they canceled my booking while it was paid in full. It was most horrible experience of my travel experience as business traveler in 4 continents. it was a nightmare and i don NOT know how they got such a fake rating. i moved from this 4 stars disgusting hotel to neighboring Holiday Inn woodstock with just 2 star.. like going heaven from hell. BW is a gift for its competitor.
