"The foot of Mount Fuji, a World Heritage Site. Located at an altitude of about 800 meters, this area has a cool climate. Subashiri once flourished as a relay point between the three provinces of Sagami, Suruga, and Kai. The Daito Fuji Resort Onsen Hotel is located here and welcomes you. While protecting the natural environment, the hotel has facilities that blend in with the surrounding area, making it the perfect place for lodging, corporate training, and event camps."
"While this hotel is a distance away from the normal accommodation in Mt. Fuji, the distance is totally worth it. Opening to a view of Mt Fuji from room and breakfast area and a chance to see F1 cars and track up close, this hotel checks off all boxes. Not to mention a cosy onsen facility. Will definitely visit here again for future trips."

"The attached natural hot spring was carbonated spring, and the carbonated spring thought that the body was bubbled during bathing, but it was not
There was a sauna, and it was good to put it multiple times during the stay"
"I recently stayed at Hotel Clad during my trip to the Fuji area, and it was a wonderful experience. The location is truly unbeatable—perched on a hilltop with breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji, especially at sunrise and sunset. Waking up to that iconic silhouette was absolutely unforgettable.
The hotel itself strikes a perfect balance between modern comfort and serene simplicity. My room was clean, well-appointed, and designed with a minimalist aesthetic that made it feel both calming and functional. The large windows made the most of the surrounding nature, and I appreciated the attention to detail in both the amenities and layout.
One of the highlights was the onsen. It was such a treat to relax in the hot spring baths while gazing out at Mt. Fuji—an experience that felt both peaceful and luxurious. The onsen facilities were clean, well-maintained, and never overly crowded.
The hotel is also conveniently connected to the Gotemba Premium Outlets, making it easy to enjoy a bit of shopping or grab a bite without venturing far. Despite this proximity, the hotel maintains a very tranquil atmosphere, which I really appreciated.
Overall, Hotel Clad is a perfect base for anyone looking to explore the Fuji area in comfort. Whether you’re there to hike, shop, or simply take in the views, it delivers a serene, scenic, and satisfying stay."

"Business style room that is ok sized for the price u pay. Staff was helpful to move our items up to our room prior to check in. They offer an eco friendly room cleaning option, and if selected, you will receive tokens for a free can of beer.
The hotel is surrounded by many restaurants and easily accessible by car.
There is free onsen but I didn't manage to try"
"Not recommended! This place is in the middle of nowhere and there is no shop nearby. You can only walk or take a taxi to go out. There is only a McDonald's and a convenience store for food within a 10-minute walk, and then it is a rural area. It feels like you can't get away even if you have wings. There is also a time limit to go to Tokyo, and there is no car whenever you want. It was a terrible experience! Every minute I'm here, I want to go back to Tokyo😭It's too painful🥹The so-called hot spring is just a small pool... (help"
