Pros: Ecclectic decor in lobby and reception areas Cons: Only accessible by public transport, nil options for carparking at hotel; amenities were very basic, no robes or slippers provided; we had breakfast included in the package and it was at the Jacob cafe however, staff were unsure of what was included in breakfast package.

A budget experience for a high price tag There was no buffet breakfast we booked, just a tiny limited café next door with squashed in seating Advertises a gym, there is no gym Can't get into the restaurant and bar No milk in the rooms for tea and coffee No electric outlet where the kettle is located Towels and linens are very low quality, worse than a backpackers Bed is hard as a rock and for a one week old hotel the mattress doesn't seem to be new Basic amenities in room Stuffy and bad smells in the room and hallways, poor ventilation Air-conditioning doesn't seem to work Dark room not enough windows Dusty room not cleaned well, our room was not vaccuumed during our stay Overall not pleasant and what we would expect for a budget room in a backpackers hostel, but it is meant to be $500 a night
