B&B Casa Camilla

Casa Camilla is a gem in the heart of Padova – a truly authentic Italian homestay that blends warmth, comfort, and local charm. From the moment we arrived, our host Filippo went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He personally picked us up from the railway station, a thoughtful gesture that instantly made us feel welcome. Upon arrival, Filippo walked us through the property and provided a personalized map of Padova, complete with local recommendations and a suggested itinerary. It was incredibly helpful for exploring the city like a local. The accommodation itself is part of a beautifully maintained family home, offering both privacy and a sense of connection to the host family. Breakfast was served in the main house, where Filippo’s mother treated us to delicious homemade cakes – a heartfelt and memorable touch. The entire experience felt like staying with family. Filippo was always just a call away and genuinely eager to help with anything we needed. If you're looking for a cozy, authentic, and welcoming place to stay in Padova, Casa Camilla is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

John and I loved everything about B&B Camilla in Padua. We arrived by rental car from the Venice airport at 5:30 pm, having seen the most gorgeous crimson sunset ever along our route. Filippo kept in touch even before our arrival, to ensure that we were safely on our way. We were given the very finest deluxe unit at Casa Camilla, which was the two-story apartment that has 4 beds on the second floor and a lovely living area and kitchen on the first floor. As others have already commented, you do not want to leave this beautiful home away from home. In fact, even as we had arranged to stay only one night, we ended up staying for three! Filippo and his parents make you feel like family and are attentive to your every need. You will feel total peace here and the service is like being royalty! The morning after our first night’s stay, Filippo personally transported us to the historic downtown area, where he left us with his own map, personally written guide of all the places to see in the area, and instructions on how to safely return “home” at the end of the day, either by walking, taking a bus, or hiring a taxi. The restaurant Filippo recommended for dinner, just a minute’s walk from B&B Camilla, was also excellent. What more can be said??? Since the first moment we met, Filippo and his family were the nicest hosts you could imagine, doing everything to make you feel good and welcome. Appartment is clean, everything is decorated in country style but new and highly functional. If you want, Filippo will tell you what you need to see in Padova (or near by), even give you his little personal guide! Beds are very comfortable and breakfast is extremely tasty and plentiful! They even make their own cakes! This family is an example how host should be! I cannot recommend this B&B more!

Clean, spacious, perfectly equipped and tasteful accommodation. There was a private covered parking space for the car, off the street. Quiet and pleasant middle-class area. The city center can be reached within 15 minutes by public transport (bus). The motorway and shopping centre (Le Brentelle) are also easily accessible. The host is extremely kind, direct and helpful. The breakfast venue is the cozy dining room of a beautiful family house located a few minutes' walk from the apartment (shared flat). The breakfast offer, quantity and quality are excellent (continental and Italian). The sweet and savoury homemade pastries and the freshly squeezed orange juice were divine. Wonderful Italian hospitality and family atmosphere. The city is beautiful, with lots to see. We will definitely be back. Ciao Italia! Ciao Padova!

Great place to be, the breakfast has lots of options, I loved the orange juice and the cake! Very friendly staff, all very clean, the bedrooms are big and confortable. Good restaurants in the area. We stayed there with colleagues and we will be back!

Stay was great from the start. Filippo kept in touch, briefed us once we arrived, gave us recommendations & helped us get settled in. Breakfasts is exceptional, made by Filippo's mom. We had many choices to eat, best of all we were given fresh squeezed orange juice, home made food & a choice of how we wanted our eggs cooked. Mom & Dad treated us kindly & his mom even took us to the train station to catch a train to Venice the next day. Filippo arranged a tour guide for Padua & Angelo communicated with us very well in English, secured us directions for sites to visit & is very friendly too. We throughly enjoyed our stay.
