I stayed at this charming, bird-themed hotel and found it to be as delightful and fresh as its name suggests. The rooms were spotless and inviting. Thanks to the pure white walls, I was able to use my mobile projector to enjoy Netflix on a massive 100-inch screen, which was a unique experience.
The riverside terrace offered a wonderful sense of openness and was perfect for relaxing-highly recommended for couples. One thing to note is that the walls are not soundproof, so if you have noisy neighbors, you may need to be prepared.
The location is excellent, just a 3-minute walk to Pai Walking Street, which is the lively heart of Pai, filled with food stalls, shops, and a vibrant atmosphere every evening[1][3][7]. To reach the hotel, you’ll cross a nostalgic wooden bridge; I suggest parking your motorbike at the end of the bridge.
Many guests, myself included, enjoyed relaxing along the riverside at night, lying back and soaking in the peaceful ambiance. During my stay, I even helped a child from overseas gently remove a cicada from their room-these insects may be loud, but they’re completely harmless and rather cute.
The hotel’s reception area was home to friendly dogs and cats, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. All in all, I had a wonderful three-night stay here. I highly recommend this hotel for couples looking to create special memories in Pai.
I had such wonderful time here, that I extended my stay twice. The atmosphere here is calm and everyone is so nice and helpful. The stuff always did their best to help with any sort of question, big or small.
The room was nice and cozy even during some rainy days. You can rent a bike at the reception, all of Pai's key attractions are only 10-15 minutes ride away.
It was a truly amazing stay, I am sad to leave.
I appreciated the care given from the staff, and the manager. I am a vegetarian and each morning he made sure I was accommodated with some warm vegetarian food. I moved from the standard room to the cottage because there is no sound proofing, something that would serious upgrade the standard rooms.
I loved the peace and quiet, the hotsprings and watching the elephant bath in the river each morning.
Lovely retreat off the beaten track. Great location for quiet relaxing trip. Surrounded by lush greenery and mountain backdrop. The rooms are big and well decorated. There is a large swimming pool on premises. Breakfast was ok. Nothing too fancy: bread, coffee/tea, with boiled or fried eggs. Cereal also available with fruits.
Quaint little oasis in the Pai village.Booking was done via TRIP and it was almost impossible to reach the resort prior to the trip. Do arrange your own transport to the resort although it says its complimentary pickup. Once you get to the resort, everything is worth the hassle. Beautiful resort setting with wonderful and attentive waiting staff. Somsak was really attentive to our needs and took the effort to make recommendations on places to go and eat. All other lady staff were super cute and friendly, it felt like home and we were very well taken care of. Thank you Oai crew
The bungalow is great and the room is really spacious. It is 22 min waljing from the city but if you want a quiet nigth it’s perfect and with a scooter it’s so easy to reach the city. It is also near to the white budddha for an amazing sunset.

No staff is very kind and very good. Although there is a little distance from the city, the service staff is still very active and told us that they can help us.
The environment is very close to nature, which makes us feel relaxed physically and mentally, and makes us have a pleasant holiday

Amazing
Aanna_wangleiThe hotel is on the bank of the Bai River, and there is a pontoon to walk to the market. The staff are warm and thoughtful and helped to walk a long way with luggage. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Maybe they just came from the Tree House Hotel and finally feel relieved. I had a good night's sleep. The breakfast is rich, the order system, the service is very nice. The swimming pool was very clean, but unfortunately, it rained for a long time the next day. The water in the pool was cold and the children could not swim as expected. Compared to the weekend night market in Chiang Mai, the night market here is more suitable for eating and walking. The fruit pancakes are really delicious!
GGuest UserJust near the World War II bridge, the yard is very comfortable, cost-effective, and parking is convenient. The proprietress is very enthusiastic. Next time I drive to Pai, I will stay here and stay for a few more days.
NNeumannVery nice room with a comfortable bed. The room itself was a little bit smaller than expected. The included breakfast was good as well, they deliver it to your balcony - which has a great view of the mountains. The jacuzzi on the balcony was a nice touch! The place is secluded but not difficult to get to (also walkable to “downtown” Pai though I do recommend a scooter to make life easier). Down the hill and next door there was a really good restaurant for both Thai and western food.
TtoffeecnxThe new room is very clean. The bed is new, soft, and comfortable to sleep on. The air conditioner is new and quiet. It is convenient to travel.
GGuest UserI had a really great time at mad monkey! The staff was amazing, super friendly and helpful. I did my laundry, booked a bus ticket back to chiang mai and rented a scooter at the front desk. They oftentimes offer fun communal activities. The rooms were really modern and clean and the individual blacked out curtains provided enough privacy :) the location is not right downtown (but you can walk there in 10 minutes) which I loved bc it was quiet during night hours.
