From the initial booking, the communication from the hotel was excellent. We arrived to find a cream tea in our room as a greeting - that was a very nice surprise. The room was fantastic and very comfortable. It is worth mentioning that this is not a conventional hotel and certainly not a B&B. It is much better as it is a cross between self-catering, hotel and B&B with the emphasis on your comfort. You have the freedom to come and go as you wish with a super range of breakfast items that you can help yourself to. If you would prefer to cook a meal, the kitchen is yours for you to use. It’s like a home from home. It would be remiss not to mention Helen who oversees the running of the property. What an incredibly hard working lady who is both very personable and helpful. It was delightful to make your acquaintance and thank you for your hospitality. If you are looking for ‘Rest and Relaxation’, without the need for hotel facilities, the Commodore is totally recommended.
