Okay I normally am very generous with my reviews but this time the room was really quite old. The bathroom fittings were all pretty rusted and some joints were basically rotting apart. The door had a poor seal so bugs did love to crawl into my little den. The hot water was abysmal so I had to use my kettle to boil water to make a bath.
Apart from that, the room was HUGE and the power was on 24/7 so you don’t need your keycard to activate it. No readily available food options nearby btw so you definitely need a car or bike if you want to stay here and enjoy Khao Yai. Room does not provide toothbrush- bring your own you lazy pig.

First time in Thailand and our eyes were first set to Khao Yai because who wouldn't be tempted by the attractions it has and being Khao Yai National Park on top of the list. Aurora resort is the perfect place to stay if you're planning to check all the Khao Yai attractions off your list. We have stayed there for 4 days and I must say the resort is undeniably huge with a massive area to wander around. You wouldn't see too many people around the resort so the place is perfect if you wanted to escape the stress and just wanted to relax from a busy world. For a foreign like me, it is a bit of a challenge to communicate with their staff in English (but I know they're doing their best to understand you) and thankfully their resort manager is one call away and will definitely assist you with whatever activity you're planning to do, honestly anything you need. Very accommodating!

Very tired grounds and buildings. Many nearby properties are fantastic in a great location. Aurora needs huge investment to achieve a better standard. The overgrown gardens make the place look terrible and it is such an easy fix.

Aurora Resort is the one of natural resort for safe stay in Khaoyai, there’s a large room for families, big size with swimming pool, the view very fresh in the evening and morning… we like something around there 🥰🥰🥰

We stayed at the hotel for 2 days, the photos are different from reality.
We came to the conclusion that the hotel used to be very cool, huge territory, beautiful bungalows, the view from the window was on the jungle, but now everything is neglected. We did not dare to swim in the pool. Well, at first glance, everything seems so beautiful, near two functioning buildings, but everything is very shabby. There are ants in the room, and you can't eat in the room, huge cockroaches immediately flew in, like Madagascar ones😱🫠

The entrance to the accommodation is very eerie, as if the hotel doesn't want to do business anymore. LOL We stayed in the Pitunia delux room zone with a swimming pool view. We got a room on the second floor. The room has a beautiful view. The room is clean enough. In the room we stayed, there were stains on the sofa in the bathroom. There were cobwebs in the bathtub. There were black stains on the bathtub. I'm not sure if it was mold or not. LOL But if you don't mind the cleanliness, you can stay comfortably. The room doesn't smell musty. The towels, blankets, and bed sheets smell good. The staff is very good and attentive. Before staying, I read the reviews that were very scary. But I almost canceled the reservation. But when I actually came to see the place, there was nothing. When we stayed, there was a tour group. So the atmosphere wasn't that scary. But if you come with two families, you might feel a little scared.
