We stayed here during our Camino and could not have been more taken by the attention to detail, charm, and impeccable service at this beautifully renovated property. The highlight was definitely the incomparable Adalberto, who could not have been a more gracious or attentive host. Dinner was exceptional, and we'd highly recommend going a bit out of your way from central Palas de Rei to enjoy the peace of this place. It exceeded every expectation!

We stayed at this beautiful hotel based on a friend's recommendation. We loved the view from the window, the friendly staff, and the delicious food. You can walk around in the small, beautiful & peaceful town. Highly recommended to everyone who is planning the Santiago de Compostela.

We were booked here by Marly Camino tour. The rooms are adequate- comfortable beds, reasonably sized bathroom. The hot water is enough but can be inconsistent in the shower- it was not unusual to get little bursts of cold water while having a shower. However, the meals provided were delicious- the owner chef gave us 2 great dinners and breakfast was a good spread as well. Well worth it just for the food!

We stayed there during our camino and it was rated as a superior accommodation.The rooms were clean and neat we stayed in the main building on the ground floor the rooms are not sound proof so all the noise from adjacent or above is heard .When we arrived at 14:30 after a 27 km walk we wanted to eat and were told the restaurant is full dinner is 19:30 The dinner was fine Not impressed with the host attitude towards guest I hope i was an exception

This is a beautifully restored property. The dining room especially is really well done. The bedrooms are comfortable and tastefully done and this is a property you really want to stay at for a few days. The food served in the dining room is very enjoyed and done to a high standard. They have a nice selection of wines at very reasonable prices. There were some very minor frustrations in the bathroom such as trying to get the right temperature on the shower (this is a very old building though so can be slightly excused) and the lack of places to hand towels and place things in the shower. That said, I would happily stay at this property again if in the area.

Smaller hotel off the Camino. Pick up and return was prompt and at no additional cost. Room was tidy and clean. The restaurant manager was great, we asked for help with the wine selection and she asked some questions about out taste and returned with a wonderful wine. The meal was one of the best we have had on our month long trip. Highly recommend.
