On November 4th I booked directly with the Host for day 8, the only available room, the SUITE (I should point out that I had to go to Palermo for a competition), and he told me that the structure does not include breakfast! I kindly asked him if it was possible to have at least some coffee (to cope with the work that awaited me in the evening/night) and he assured me that there was a coffee machine in the suite and that he would provide me with some pods. When the evening arrived and I put away my luggage (the SUITE was clean and nice), I went to the space used as a kitchen for a long-awaited coffee... but I found nothing. Only a coffee machine, badly placed, not prepared for the welcome and without any pods. I went to the fridge to see if at least there was a bottle of welcome water... but nothing. Desert of the Tartars. I contacted the Host to point out that my request had not been "accepted" and that there was not even a bottle of water, the answer was: "now I'll see about getting it" Have you heard from him again???? Not even a phone call to apologize for the poor service! All for the modest sum of €95. Dear Host (if that word is appropriate), I understand that your facility does not serve breakfast, but have you traveled to other places? Being courteous with those who purchase a stay in your facilities, I think it is a commandment for YOU. Leaving a bottle of water for a traveler or some coffee (by the way requested and confirmed) or two slices of toast and jam for the next morning (don't think that this could affect the €95 received plus the tourist tax left on the table as requested underlined), is a way to do your job better and not make tourists just mere banknotes. Recommendation: be more courteous with those who "invest in your accommodation facilities"
