I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE ABALI HOTEL IN PALERMO My stay was at the end of August 24. It claims to be a 3-star hotel but it does not reach the level of a shack. The access to the hotel is a communal one for neighbours and is full of dirt. The lift is from the 60s with 3 doors. Check-in is done by phone. The host Mr Vito gives you the instructions by phone. At the entrance you find a room full of suits and boxes, all very dirty. And when you enter the room it does not represent those shown on the web, the air conditioning does not work, the bathroom floor is made of cement, a 20 cm mini sink, there is no television, there is no mini-bar, the walls are lined with very old and deteriorated fabrics, torn curtains with holes, to get into the bathtub you need a ladder, etc. What you cannot imagine, you find there. The host changed my room, which according to Vito was the best, the Suite with a round bed that from the knees to the feet is left exposed (outside the bed), the bed has the boards that support another board of the bed, you can see with the naked eye, the hot water takes more than 30 minutes to arrive and is almost cold. That day there was no one cleaning and no customers. Everything was empty. I SLEPT ALONE THAT NIGHT, BUT DRESSED IN CLOTHES. THE NEXT DAY I CHANGED HOTELS. I asked him to return the money for the rest of the stays because I was not going to continue with Vito and BOOKING. To this day I am waiting for the refund. The only thing I received from Vito were threats by phone, that I would not receive the money if I left a bad comment. SCAMMER.
