The hotel has a small courtyard that doubles as a restaurant. It is decorated with characteristics, but the rooms are poor. There is no air conditioning. There is only a fan. If there are no leftover food from the restaurant the day before, breakfast will only be bread, jam, and milk.

To be honest if I could give zero points, I would! I can’t even describe what a load of junk this hotel is. The lady who welcomed us was desinterested in us, and the room reflected that sentiment. Old, run down, in DESPERATE NEED of an upgrade, mould in the bathroom. Airco? Cost you extra. If you happen to have a bootle of soda, they can fine you for bringing in a beverage from outside ( where’s the fridge in your room for then)?

I really like this traditional hotel with a beautiful taverna and garden. I will recommend this place. The breakfast was perfect, and I will try to get back in the future, with my family and/friends for holidays. The room was nice too. Thank you very much :)

I had my wedding reception here 20 years ago. Wonderful memories and fantastic photos in beautiful authentic setting. I've since come back twice to visit. Each time had a very warm welcome from owner George. Looking forward to visit in the future.

I had a dreadful experience with that hotel. The pictures posted on their website do not reflect the reality. I booked a room with 2 beds, but got a room with 1 bed too small for 2 persons and with a worn-out matrass. The room was dark, dingy and with a view on an outdoor refuse area It is clearly not a 3-star hotel. The hotelier and personnel were lackadaisical. I had to find another hotel on the spot, and I never got my money back. After my holidays I filed a claim before the European Consumer Centre (ECC). This hotelier never responded to the ECC enquiries. However, the ECC keeps a record of all claims and might investigate at some point.

I made a reservation for two nights through the official website of the hotel and received a confirmation and a reminder of my booking prior to my visit. When I arrived, nobody was at the reception, eventually an employee checked my ID against room reservations and handed me the keys, saying I can pay for the room when the hotel manager arrives. The next morning the hotel owner/manager tried to barge into the room. When I came downstairs, he said he made the mistake of placing me into a double room - even though that is what my booking said - showing me the printed confirmation of my booking, and complaining that I booked the room for too cheap of a price. Realizing that he double booked the room, and that there were other people arriving who have booked the room for a higher price, he wanted me to pay for two nights and leave, even though I stayed there only for one night and had nowhere to go. When I refused to pay for two nights instead of one, he started yelling at me and said misogynistic remarks in my address, proceeded to straight on lie saying that I was cheating him by having booked the room for a lower price, and then that the website I booked it from was a fake - even though he had showed me the exact confirmation of my room reservation printed out. Instead of apologizing for his mistake, he tried to deceive me and rip me off. He was extremely disrespectful and aggressive. I ended up paying for the night I stayed and left. Aside from this, the hotel is very outdated and not clean at all with old and stained towels and little hairs everywhere. Do yourself a favor and book a nice hotel closer to the harbor.

Worst meal! All food came from local Lidl NOT home cooked as advertised. Even the beer was Lidl cans! Seafood salad still frozen - owner told me I could take it home ‘as seafood is frozen’. No thanks! Shameful place in the middle of really lovely restaurants. Advice - avoid!

I am writing this review as my partner wrote another one completely accurate in April and just today got a response from the restaurant adding even more lies to the story. First of all I am no “escort”, I’m the partner of the person who wrote the review and as we wrote it together I must point out there wasn’t any kind of “miscommunication” and everything happened as she stated in her review. Second of all, the money was not the issue. My partner was the one who gave them the total amount of the bill without complaint, just so we could leave from that unwelcoming place, while I was still trying to have a conversation in Greek with the manager to clarify about why we had that charge of 16€ for “FOOD”, which we didn’t order. So once again they lied, this time about us not paying the bill. Third of all, I NEVER had a conversation with the manager accepting any other salad, I was only told that the mixed grill was going to take 20 minutes at the same time they brought the salad and bread, which in the menu was stated that it was included in the mixed grill, so we didn’t question it and there was no way for us to know they were bringing “gifts” (that we were then charged for obviously) or any other different or bigger amount of food (as they say) instead of what was included in the mixed grill that we ordered. Another lie they said in the reply to my partner’s review is that we were offered other extra stuff… For the record: we weren’t offered that extra halloumi that they mention nor they offered any “desserts on the house”. We are shocked and literally can’t understand why they keep on adding more and more lies to the story when nothing of that actually happened. It was a mistake from their side to not inform us about what they were bringing if it wasn’t what we ordered and then play fools when we asked what was the charge of the 16 extra euros for. We paid the amount and we never even mentioned we were not going to pay for it so we’re a bit confused of why and how they have the guts to lie also about that in the reply. We’re telling the story how it happened just for other people to not make the same mistake as us and also for the establishment to improve on this issue of not informing about what they are or are not serving as we know it has happened to more people and we’re not the only ones. We’re literally not asking for any compensation now and we also didn’t ask for it when it happened. If they think the problem was the money: it wasn’t. Our problem was never about how much to pay but what we were paying for and how they were (and still are) completely dishonest with the situation and with the way they tried to get more money from us without any logical explanation. But anyway we already reported them when it happened to the pertinent consumer and tourism department and from our side everything is clear. The only ones damaging the image of their so old and recognized business are themselves.

Stayed here for three nights during a brief stay in Paphos and wasn’t disappointed. I was travelling a little before the main holiday season in Cyprus kicks off so the hotel price was very reasonable. It’s an old school kind of place compared to the bigger, flashier hotels down by the coast but that’s not a bad thing. I found the room clean, spacious and comfortable, with nice atmospheric lighting. There was a bit of noise from the surrounding streets at night but as the hotel is in the town centre this is to be expected and it didn’t spoil my stay. Despite the hotel being relatively old it has all the modern conveniences including WiFi and air conditioning. The bathroom shower was great too. A particular highlight was the morning breakfast. The food was excellent with a decent selection and you can eat it in a pleasant courtyard which is full of trees and plants. So, all round a perfect experience and I’d be happy to stay here again.
