San Agustin Paracas

We had a really nice weekend with my family, everything was good, really enjoyed Paracas. Hotel, food and attention, Juan was so kind to help us at anytime :). I highly recommend this hotel, it’s close to many restaurants and tours, a nice place to come with family, couple or a group of friends.

Lovely property on the beach with one of the nicest pools I've been in. Great restaurant with good value and no need to look further at night for a place to eat. Strict 3PM check in and noon check out. Refrigerator in room. Broken safe. Easy walk to Cruz del Sur terminal. Staff from check in, housekeeping, front desk are all very friendly. But the only reason I am writing is to say thank you to Yonmi in the restaurant. Staying for 2 nights and enjoying the restaurant you get friendly with staff. But Yonmi went over and above being extra helpful with our family and that really made the trip extra special. Her kindness and super attention to detail, doing things we didn't ask for and just being a quality person. I really appreciate when my family is treated kindly so thank you Yonmi for making breakfast, lunch and dinner really, really nice. This is a busy and usually full hotel and the rooms are tired. Moldy bathroom ceilings. We switched rooms and both were kind of nasty. Even though this is the desert it is damp being on the ocean. This is the owner's fault NOT poor staff. I heard the housekeeping young lady say to the manager who came to inspect that she has been telling them over and over again about this issue. We'll definitely go back because of the reasons mentioned above. The exterior of the hotel is beautiful, landscaped and welcoming but basic attention to the rooms is needed by more than just the fine housekeeping staff.

I would like to say that I enjoyed a good food time of my mom’s birthday, I would like a special recognition to Bladimir Hilario, he was an excellent guy giving the correct information about the dishes that we ordered those day. On the other hand, the hotel facilities are very beautiful and of quality!!

Nice hotel with lots of positives: Terrific pool and poolside area with plenty of loungers and beds with canopies and plenty of pool towels easily available. Comfortable rooms, nice restaurant and helpful staff. We loved chilling poolside reading a book and going in and out of the warm water, with poolside drinks and food service aswell. Its a short walk into Paracas either by the road or along the beach and the coach station is only a few hundred meters down the road. Rooms have safe boxes. A few small negatives and one massive one: They have tea and coffee in the rooms, but not milk even though there is a fridge, how easy to just leave a jug or small carton of milk in fridge for your new guests. It seems you have to ask for the aircon control. Also cups and plates left on wall outside rooms for 48 hours whilst we were there. And the one big one: The hotel has beachfront access in front of the pool and it is almost a private beach as not many people walk past, but the beach is awful with litter, rubbish, plastic bottles and plastic bags, I wanted to swim in the sea but didnt bother. I think that the hotel would do itself a great deal of credit if it took responsibility for its beach front and cleaned it up and removed the rubbish, and then got its pool staff do do a daily litter pick. Its an absolute no brainer, and then take the bin bags away, not leave full bin bags lying around by the hedge as there is now.
