Kymi Palace

Our stay at Kymi Palace in Kymi, Evia, was absolutely fantastic! The hotel offers stunning sea views and a serene atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped, ensuring a comfortable stay. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The pool area is beautiful, and the restaurant serves delicious food with a variety of options. It’s an excellent choice for anyone seeking luxury, relaxation, and impeccable hospitality. Highly recommended!

The hotel was very clean and the staff were so friendly. Slight language barrier but we knew no Greek, so I definitely would try and learn the basics before going. As a sign of respect and to make your life easier. Our only problem was, because we ‘went out of season’ all of the activities that were emailed to me after I reached out to the hotel for excursions, we’re actually shut when we came to book them. We also weren’t made aware that the pool would be closed and all of the outdoor amenities, despite the weather being 20 degrees and sunny. We struggled finding things to do, we didn’t hire a car but I would highly recommend it for getting to the beaches and local villages, you can get a taxi but we had a 50 euro charge every time we wanted to drive half an hour away to a hiking spot or beach. The food was ok, not inclusive of allergies so be prepared beforehand with snacks if you have any - or make the hotel aware before arrival so they can make arrangements if possible - There is only one local shop, so stock up.

We absolutely love this place! We first stayed here in 2019 for a wedding (amazing wedding at Kymi Palace) and we returned with friends who a from the area. We are from New Jersey , US. I am a travel agent , and travel often, I find this hotel to be perfect. Maria at the front desk is very pleasant and accommodating. The pool, has amazing views, and great service. Our favorite bar to walk to in Paralia is “Rodon” excellent service and food music! Walk 1.5 miles to Soutsini beach for convenience, but if you want to see an absolutely amazing beach ask the front desk for a car service to Thepsa beach.By boat if not windy or by car service (you need a 4x4 ) make your way up to the Platia (town square) at night for great coffee and desert! We can not wait to come back!

The kindness and the willingness of the staff is a huge asset of this hotel! Breakfast was very nice and the room, which by the way was beside the pool, was spacy and clean!! The poil was clean with a lifeguard standby! We should visit again!

The location is beautiful, right on the Aegean with an amazing view. Kymi Palace is a lovely hotel, very well kept, with a lovely big reception and lounge area, bar and indoor and outdoor dining areas. Our spacious bedroom had a nice balcony overlooking the sea, it was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed and pillows, controllable heating, a comfy sofa, a fridge and a safe. The bathroom was also spacious and spotless. Continental breakfast was plentiful [with lots of tasty Greek pastries], and served indoors or outdoors as we chose. We ate at the hotel a few of the nights and the food was delicious. We both celebrated our birthdays while there and were made a fuss of by the staff with cheesecake and candles and Masticha..thank you Jana and Dimitri!! And thank you to the lovely helpful receptionist, whose name I apologise for forgetting, who sourced eyedrops for me :}. All the staff were really friendly and helpful :} Ef charisto! The pool, although it looked lovely, very disappointingly wasn't open as the holiday season hadn't properly started in late March when we were there. The surroundings of the hotel are well kept with lots of flowers and trees..a very peaceful atmosphere. There's a tiny beach just a short stroll away and we swam and sunbathed there. We hired a small jeep for 30e per day. I would recommend car hire to go and see some more of the island of Evia..although there are shops and bars and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel and a lovely port with a daily ferry to Skyros..the island is beautiful and it is worth seeing more of it..the mountains and mountain villages are stunning. Mind the twisty roads though!

Kymi Palace goes above and way beyond!! I am a Greek American that got married in a nearby village and held my reception at kymi palace. They helped me plan my wedding years before the date and helped make my dreams come true the day of! We could not have done it without the wonderful Kymi palace staff!! There are multiple spaces at Kymi Palace that can be used for parties/receptions. They also took amazing care of our families during our stay. We lost our luggage and they were so hospitable to help us find items locally to make our wedding day possible. The staff even stayed up all night after the wedding to make sure we had breakfast in the morning to make our early morning departure bus. The rooms are so nice with beautiful views. Our families had a blast at the pool with wonderful food and beverage service staff . Everyone enjoyed the local cuisine and hospitality , and made wonderful memories at the Kymi Palace. Special shout-out to Maria, our wedding Planner, local concierge, front desk manager , she’s does it all and she truly is a one of a kind hotelier! Thank you Kymi Palace !!!
