My mum and I loved, loved, loved Villa Famiri!!! The whole staff felt like family to us❤️ Such strong women, who know about hospitality. We visited multiple times during our stay in Surinam. Every time we were so happy to recharge in our little paradise near the center of Paramaribo. The amazing ambiance, lovely styling, comfort, nice beds, airco, pool, food (ice coffee): just everything. We specially like to thank Aisha and Lucie. They absolutely went beyond and above to make us feel at home 🏠 Grang tangi! Thank u 🙏🏻

This is a really nice boutique hotel located in a quiet part of Paramaribo. The bed was super comfortable and the wi-fi and air conditioning worked well. Breakfast was included each morning and served with a smile. Most importantly, the staff at Villa Famiri were so kind and helpful. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

Excellent friendly staff which helped me a lot to arrange my onward travel. Beautiful and comfortable room, tasty breakfast, good location in a quiet area but within a walking distance to the center of Paramaribo.

We were one of the first guests after it was renovated. It was clean It was large It was comfortable It was a good fit for TALL people It’s located not far from the city The breakfast was really good. The staff was polite and helpful. We would definitely go back.

Het is als thuiskomen, personeel kent ons van vorige bezoeken. Als het zo goed blijft, komen we ook steeds weer terug. We hebben nu vijf verschillende kamers gehad, maar die we nu hadden was echt de beste. Onze vrienden waren voor het eerst hier, maar waren ook enthousiast over de locatie en de entourage.

ItiFijn no nonsens hotel met goed ontbijt en fijne mensen. Veel contact met personeel en overige gasten. Veel persoonlijker dan de grote Torarica in het centrum. Erg klein zwembad, maar verfrissend. Dicht bij restaurants, maar ook bij Famiri goede simpele maaltijden verkrijgbaar. Niets is deze enkel vrouwelijke staff teveel.

Leuk kleinschalig hotel. Uiterst vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijt is geen buffet, je geeft de dag voordien door wat je wenst, maar de keuze is voldoende en je mag altijd bij vragen. Op wandelafstand zijn enkele restaurants en bars. Je kunt ook in het hotel dineren, al is de kaart niet zo uitgebreid. Minpuntje kan zijn dat er vooral in het weekend veel lawaai op straat kan zijn. Al ij al een leuke ervaring en een aanrader voor Paramaribo.

Wat een fijn, kleinschalig hotel is dit. We zijn op onze rondreis drie maal in dit hotel geweest en voelt als thuiskomen. De dames doen er alles aan om het gevoel van thuiskomen te bewerkstelligen. Mooie kamer, lekker eten, goede bedden. Niet ver van centrum dus dichtbij verschillende restaurants. In een woord TOP.

Het personeel is de grootste aanwinst van Villa Famiri, super vriendelijk en behulpzaam, toen ik niet bij het ontbijt verscheen werd er zelfs gevraagd aan mijn broer of ik dit op de kamer wou hebben. Heel goed personeel, vooral zo doorgaan! Het ontbijt heb ik overgeslagen omdat het karig was, niet veel keus en je mocht niet zelf het eten pakken (dus geen buffet maar je moet je keuze aangeven en dit is beperkt, maar 4 soorten beleg bijvoorbeeld). De kamer was schoon maar de handdoeken waren verouderd en hard en sommigen hadden vlekken en gaten, die zijn echt aan vernieuwing toe. Ik zou ze 3 sterren geven maar ik ben me jas vergeten en die mochten we na enkele dagen ophalen en alles zat er nog in dus ik geef een extra ster voor de service en de ligging dichtbij de stad. Minpunten zijn het ontbijt, de verouderde handdoeken en het bed dat voor mij echt te hard was. Pluspunten, vriendelijk personeel, schoon en super ligging op loopafstand van het centrum! Je kan dichtbij bij Kokonbana goed eten en cocktails drinken!
