Hotel Stallbacken Nagu

Went for a family dinner just frrst time to try restaurant. We were hosted very nicely with a smile. At same time there was. Group of 8, and we were warned that it ight take bit longer to get a food, which was not. An issue for us. Appertiser was very good but main course just on average - in overal; clearky overpriced. 1st visit was a bit disapppontment in terms of price/quality ratio.

Not worth the price. Paid 130 € per night. Room was not cleaned when arriving in the evening (5pm). Previous guest towels and bed sheets. The new room floors were dusty like the cleaning would only include changing the sheets and towels. Inexperienced staff. Overall cleanliness in all the areas felt a bit dusty/unmanaged. Earplugs needed during the night. Air in the rooms were nothing near fresh. Pretty ok breakfast.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful in giving advice about local ferries etc. It’s a beautiful and peaceful location. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast buffet was fresh with lots of variety. Would stay again!

It is a beautiful place in a serene spot. The rooms were OK but not quite worth the 190 Euro. We were there on one of the hottest days of the year but there was only a small fan and no screen on the windows. The walls are thin and we could hear the family with kids next door. The terrace is lovely and we had an excellent dinner of salmon chowder, an open faced salmon tartare sandwich and a (white) fish well prepared. Unfortunately the bar tender was young and inexperienced. The drinks were not worth the money: the Aperol sprits was made with prosecco that had lost its bubbles and the housewine was old and tired, a poor match for the excellent food.. The terrace was also nice at breakfast time except that the umbrella could not be opened “because it was dangerous,” as one of the waitstaff told us. It seems all they had to do was fill the base of the umbrella with water or sand. And so we ate with the sun in our eyes. There is a small beach which is well equipped with chairs, but it is not right by the hotel, requiring a 15 minute walk either down the roda or via a narrow trail.
