Hôtel Vivienne

I’ve never actually written a bad review because I’m a relatively easy person to please but my stay in this particular hotel left me angered and shocked. A person at the front desk by the name of ALAIN made such snarky comments while we were having breakfast in front of all the other guests that it left us so mortified on our first morning in Paris we were at a loss of words. However we let it slide by reasoning that he was probably having a bad day and the targeting was simply misdirected. But a similar incident happened again when he was on duty at the desk again when he made another comment in very poor taste toward my mother. We’ve travelled to a lot of countries and stayed in many hotels but NEVER have we ever had such an unwelcoming experience. Despite the fact that the hotel was nice and the rooms as well it was all ruined because of how horrible we were made to feel. Such racism is unacceptable and I’ll tell my travel agent to never recommend this hotel to anyone.
