Pros- wonderful location. Friendly / helpful staff Has old world charm Good breakfast Cons- Size of a classic room is ridiculously small & requires multiple stairs to reach. Upper floors with larger rooms can be reached by elevator. Spend more & get a deluxe room. Dining area for breakfast very tight , uncomfortable , with mini round tables.

Such a beautifully, quaint boutique hotel located in the perfect area of Paris, close to many eclectic restaurants, cafes, and parks, amongst locals, students and tourists. This was my husband and my second visit to Paris, the first only being one and half days with a large tour group. We researched various districts and hotels within Paris for ease of walking to the various attractions and public transportation. We were also looking for a smaller hotel with both comfort and character. The Hotel Odeon Saint-Germain was perfect in all regards. Most importantly, the hotel staff was super welcoming and immediately made us feel comfortable (which was very important to us since we are Americans and do not speak French). Our flight arrived very early in the morning and to our amazement they were able to accommodate us in a spacious, elegant room on the 4th floor (nice view). My thanks to the Hotel Odeon Saint-Germain for making our week in Paris a most memorable experience.

4 day stay. Very Quaint hotel and friendly staff. Enjoyed our stay. Unique use of space. Would stay there again. Great location to walk to attractions, cafe, metro etc.. had a single bedroom that was uniquely off the stairs between floors. Shower was a little tiny more like an RV shower. Everything very clean.

We had an amazing stay on our vacation. The breakfast was outstanding, our room comfortable, the location convenient, but the true highlight of our stay was the friendly and helpful staff at the property. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit!

The hotel is located in a great location and a walking distance to d'Orsay, Louvre, Siene River, etc. It is located in the St Germaine area. The hotel has a very good service. When we arrived at the hotel, it was too early to check in, so they took our suitcases and kept them safe, while we were sightseeing. When we got back the suitcases were already in our room. The room was clean. We had the smallest room. I would recommend a bigger room for two people. The smallest room is ok for one person, but for two people, it is tight. The breakfast was good with a variety of selections for cheeses, bread (baguettes, other french breads), juices, cereal, yogurts, and cold cuts. The staff served coffee or tea. Once the lady knew how I liked my tea, she ensured every morning to serve the tea the way I love it (with honey and lemon). The shower amenities had L'Occitane. Loved the hand cream. However, the small l'Occitane hand cream was only provided on the first night. We ran out of the hand cream very quickly as were two people and it was not restocked. The hotel staff was very helpful with the restaurant and variety of recommendations and directions as well.

I will, 100%, stay here during my next stay in Paris. I'm just figuring out dates when to book. This was my mother's first time out of the United States and I wanted her to have an amazing experience while in Paris. I just wanted to put it out there that I was looking for a hotel that was accessible for my disabled mother. She can walk, but not far distances, and is unable to walk up a lot of stairs. This was a great choice when it came to location. It is right in the middle of the city and I, as a single woman, felt very safe going outside in the neighborhood by myself. Or knowing my mother, who is a senior, was able to walk the neighborhood without any complications. We had to book a Triple room (Room 2) as it was one of their last options when I originally booked and it was just perfect. I will ask for that room again. The room had 2 twin beds and a chaise lounge that could be converted to another bed if needed. The room was on the 1st floor (2nd floor for us Americans) and was right next to the elevator which was good for my mom. Even though there is a room connected to our room, I never heard any other guests in the hotel. Honestly, for a moment, I thought we were the only guests because it was so quiet. The bathroom was small, with just enough room for 1 person, but the shower made up for that. The rainfall shower head was a bonus. They had a small closet, which we utilized for our winter jackets, a safe, and a mini fridge which had items in it that you could have for a fee. Our room had a large window that opened to the streets and it was nice to have that opened if our room got too stuffy or we wanted to hear what was going on outside. One downside about being on the 1st floor close to the street was that when the window was open, we could hear all the cars, buses, and college kids going down the street. But that was taken into account when booking a hotel next to a college. Breakfast was served downstairs in what looked like a dining area. You had your basics, cheese, breads, jams, hard-boiled eggs, juices, and coffee. I believe it was $15 per person per breakfast if you didn't already have prepaid for the breakfast. The area around the hotel was very nice. Once you step out of the hotel, you have restaurants like Marco Polo just on the corner, a pharmacy, a laundry mat which my mom did her laundry, a delicious patisserie, and a fresh market where you can find fresh foods such as cheese, meats, fish, AND premade foods. We enjoyed the Thai restaurant that was in that market. There is a metro station not far from the hotel and bus stops along the main boulevard in Saint Germain. But to explain how close I was to the main attractions, I accidentally found myself at Notre Dame after walking maybe 10 minutes after leaving the hotel's doors. I would like to end by saying, the main reason I will be staying here again is because the hotel staff is world-class. If my mom and I had questions, they were more than happy to help. If we had a

We chose Hotel Odeon Saint-Germain on a friend recommendation. Our first trip to Paris and I have to say, it was the welcoming staff that made the hotel and the entire stay, a great experience for us. By day, Giulia at the desk and other staff, answered our questions. They were polite and attentive. We arrived well ahead of check-in and not an issue in the least for them. On the evening desk, Jean Francios, an affable gent, seemed to genuinely want us to enjoy our 3 days in Paris. Wow! Our last night he made a dinner reservation at the Louvre for 10pm. The sun was setting and the atmosphere was breathtaking, as promised-- a night we'll never forget. We felt like the hotel's only guests. The room and the entire hotel and staff were delightful.

The hotel reservation was made through a deceptive website that pretended to be the official hotel. It offered a room at a market rate with free cancellation to 7 days, and then confirmed with hundreds of dollars of unapproved charges. This company is called Hotel Values AKA GetaRoom and the hotel tried to cancel the reservation but the company would not allow. BEWARE. Make sure you have the official website.
