The Bonséjour is situated at a quiet junction in Montmartre, but only a short walk to the bustling rue des Abesses with a great range of restaurants.
It is a good hotel for couples, offering a wide range of items for continental breakfast with fresh coffee prepared by the proprietors wife. It is of a “certain age” regarding fixtures and fittings, USB sockets being absent, although the rooms are well supplied with electrical sockets. The shower & toilet facilities are cramped but serve their purpose.

Wonderful staff and they make everything easy and accessible. We accidentally left our key in the room the day we were leaving and the staff came in early to help us out to make it tut to the airport on time!! It’s a great area too! Not too congested with tourist and absolutely gorgeous

Extremely helpful staff in a fabulous location. Just beware- our room was not air conditioned. The room is very quiet with the window closed but hot weather and a busy bar next door meant a few uncomfortable sleeps.

We had a sweet small room in a perfect part of Paris. We did wait a while after check in time for room to be cleaned but it was very clean. It was a hot week in Paris and there isn’t Airco. Windows open and a fan was provided. I would stay here again.

Horrible hotel; I was given a room without a bathroom, no air conditioning, and the hotel still uses old keys. The room was too expensive for what it offered.

the tl;dr: Stay in montmartre, the neighborhood is excellent for a quintessential Parisian experience. However, justn avoid this hotel. There has to be better options around. thats how low the bar is. this is my honest rating. the 2 star is actually for some of the friendly staff i interacted with.
P.S: carefully look at all the negative reviews and see how dismissive/rude the replies from the staff are. That should give you a glimpse of what to expect :)

Walking distance to Moulin Rouge, staff friendly, room was neat, clean and had all the basic stuff to enjoy a quick layover in Paris.
