Hotel is small. Rooms are small to suit. No room for large baggage. Quaint and comfortable. Good location. Plenty of retail therapy options nearby. Staff are friendly not all spoke clear English but we got by. Cafe across the road is excellent.

We stayed in Mederic over the weekend for a wedding. It was very close to a wonderful park where we really enjoyed our time and the location is quite good. I can really recommend the location of the hotel as it is easy to take a cab, uber or city bike. The hotelrooms were nice, clean and comfortable. However if you are travelling with large suitcases it should be noted that the elevator is small and the elevator stops mid steps. It is not an issue at all but should be noted if you are travelling with heavy luggage or a baby stroller. Price, location and comfort are certainly the advantages here.

Great location, great price , great hosts. Three days in Paris isn’t enough but it was a last minute decision. This hotel is close to the main centre. We walked to the Arc De Triumph in about 20 mins. Rooms are smallish but that’s Paris I’m told and didn’t cause a problem for us. Lovely neighborhood. Great cafe and market across the road . Great place to base your Paris trip out of.

Have been staying in this great hotel for over 8 years. Good position, very comfortable rooms (even though a little small), and staff that remember you and eager to help with anything. Be it business or pleasure it is so handy and 2 minutes walk away from Courcelles tube. A secret gem in my opinion.

It's a decent three star close to Parc Monceau. Rooms are clean, bed is comfortable. I have stayed there a couple of times already, the service is always very friendly. Lift is not convenient, as stopping on half floors, i.e. you either have to walk up or down to your floor. Also, I sometimes had a really small room with barely space to walk around the bed (couldn't put my open suitcase anywhere). Unreliable internet.

The hotel staff was an absolute nightmare because I specifically booked a superior double room for the preference of having a view towards the back side ( as I imagined they’d have a courtyard to look over to for more peace and quiet and for the larger space because I wanted to do some writing in the morning from my room and a tiny room doesn’t help with creativity) with 15sqm. Instead they initially offered me room 110 on the first floor which was facing the street side and was considerably smaller than the 15Sqm advertised as corresponding to a superior double room. After coming to the reception to notify them about the difference in standards, the receptionist admitted he didn’t give me a superior room (! Shocker!) and apologized and tried to look for an alternative but instead of finding a better one, he insulted me in french while talking his manager on the phone saying “the spoiled lady doesn’t like her room, what do we do with her?!” and offered me a room with a view to the back, just to discover it’s facing the dumpster. I literally felt treated like garbage and they used the fact that it was already close to midnight in trying to force to accept a second room on the ground floor, close to the breakfast area ( so complete disregard to my need of quiet sleep) and overseeing a dumpster area in their “backyard”. They cleverly used this argument in saying they have no responsibility to offer me another room and I can do whatever I want because the room charge is non refundable. They did this to others as well as it turns out because they lie about the number of superior rooms they have and they false advertise to get more money. They get called out by tourists for the small rooms but most end up not getting the value for money and would not go to sleep somewhere else like I did. This hotel is not renovated completely as they present in the pictures and when you get there and see the rooms you immediately realize why they force people to pay upfront. The level of cleanness and comfort is very low. The beds had really bad mattress ( as I tested 1 for a few minuted before deciding this is not going to work for me). If you think it’s still worth going here because it’s the “Paris standards”, you’re wrong! Immediately after leaving the property I found a new place which didn’t false advertise and they even apologized they have 2 single beds that have not been united with the sheets to make it one big bed. It turns out there are better standards, this is just not one of those places!

A very pretty renovated room, small downsides: a safe is missing, a bathtub is not practical because the door is too small and the shower head does not go high, too bad, but the big downside is the sheets which look like plastic as well as the duvet while having the impression of sleeping in a sleeping bag with the very nice noise every time you move. Very friendly staff, we were able to leave our luggage for the day and access our rooms early!! We will return without worries!!
