La Maison Montparnasse

The location is very convenient. There are many bakeries and restaurants (including Chinese and Japanese restaurants) within walking distance. The subway is also very close. I went to the stalls quickly. There was some smell and I needed to open the ventilation. The room was small but basically clean. It should have been newly renovated. It is very close to Giacometti Institute and Cartier Contemporary Art Foundation. It is a relatively safe area.

I booked this hotel because I heard online reviews about how many thieves there are in Paris. It is located in the 14th arrondissement, which is said to be the safest area. The hotel is in a residential area, and there is a subway entrance for line 13 in four minutes. There is also a subway entrance and a bus stop not far away, which is very convenient. It is not far from Charles de Gaulle Airport to here. I took a train for 11 yuan and then walked here 🤣, haha, it should have taken about 20 minutes to walk here. I have a big suitcase and don’t want to transfer to the subway or bus. And you can go shopping very early. Because of this, I saw that the surroundings are not particularly clean. I originally planned to book in the rich area, so I was a little dissatisfied with the environment. The hotel service is very good, clean and hygienic, there is an elevator, I am on the top floor, and I have to go up a few steps after the elevator comes out. My room is at the staircase, but fortunately it is not noisy at all, really not noisy, it is not a sound insulation problem, but everyone is not noisy. There is only noise when checking out at around 10 o'clock. The room hygiene is really no problem, it is cleaner than Japan. The faucet in the bathroom is also very good, I am very satisfied. The bed is also very big and comfortable, and there is a window, which I just use to dry clothes, hahaha. The air conditioner didn't have heating, but I didn't mind. There was a TV, but I didn't come back until about 10:30 pm every day, so I didn't experience it. Check-out was around 11 pm, and the luggage was kept for free. I kept it until about 8 pm and transferred to another hotel.

We loved the hotel. Recently renovated. Great location with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Very close to the metro. The room was very cozy. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was delicious and of very good quality. 100% recommendable. We will definitely be back!!!
