The best thing about this hotel are the staff - they were lovely and helpful. The room we stayed in was basic but very clean and comfortable. Perfect for if you just want a base to go back to and sleep in at the end of a long day. The bathroom was a wet room with nothing separating the shower from the toilet and the sink - which was a bit odd at first but you get used to it. The location was great - we chose this hotel partly because it’s a 2 minute walk from the Strasbourg Saint Denis metro stop from which you can travel on 3 different lines. It’s also less than a 20 minute walk to Gare du Nord for the RER to CDG. There are multiple little supermarkets within a few minutes walk from the hotel. The only bad thing we have to say about the hotel is that the walls must be paper thin because we had some quite disrupted sleep from other guests coming back at night. We could hear every door opening and closing, footsteps, toilet flush, shower running which was quite frustrating. Apart from that, nothing to complain about.

This is easy to get to from Gare du Nord. The rooms are very clean and there is a fan. It was quiet and peaceful. The receptionist speaks French and English. The train station round the corner and mcdonald's near by. Good bus links if you don't use the metro. 😉

The staff friendly half spoke English other half did not. Room was clean but extremely sparse. No air conditioner, so prepare to sleep with windows open. The staircase is honestly deadly. My husband fell going down and I tripped on way up. They are small and winding. But if you only need to sleep and aren't spending alot of time in hotel it works just fine. Is close to metro and lots of restaurants.

We loved our little home away from home in Paris. At first we were worried we were too far from central Paris activities, but it didn’t take long before we fell in love with the neighborhood and the ease of getting everywhere with the nearby metro system. It was so nice being away from the super touristy areas at night. The front office staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Our room was the biggest I have stayed at in Paris yet. We were very happy! Plus - the entire place was spotless. The only downside was that there was no air conditioning and our fan was broken so we were sweating profusely at night due to warmer Parisian temps, but that is on us for not asking for a replacement. Highly recommend booking this hotel on a budget.

I booked 2 nights at Hotel Mimosa. The hotel is very well located, near the metro (in a street that is quite reassuring when you are alone). The room is small but clean. Thanks to the team for their kindness.

We stayed one night, two adults and two girls. We needed a support just to sleep and actually we were satisfied with it. The room was comfortable enough, the bathroom really small, overall pretty clean. The spiral staircases to reach the top floor where our girls' room used to be were quite challenging, especially as they were very narrow. The staff was very nice and helpful. Also we were able to leave our bags after check out. Convenient location, two minutes from the metro. The area is not exactly the best but as a support it is just fine

We found the room quite small. The walk-in shower is next to the toilet, and after a shower the floor of the bathroom is all wet up to the sink. The room was relatively clean, and overlooked an interior courtyard. We were well sheltered from the noises of the street, but not from those of our neighbor in the room (waking up at 6am because she was talking quite loudly with her neighbor). Soundproofing is non-existent and the doors are very thin. And watch out for the crooked stairs. Friendly staff

The hotel, which has absolutely nothing of the definition of hotel, during the weekend is located next to a disco / club that the receptionist has "justified" by making fun of us, as if it were a private party to our grievances when at 'half past one at night there was house music and from our room it seemed to be among the guests given the noise ... the hallucinating noise continued until 4.30 / 5 and obviously when we woke up we left without even being able to speak to the manager . We then turned to the platform from which we had booked to get a refund (because the structure would not give us back even in euros). In addition to this, I specify that the stairs to go up to the floors (because there is no lift) are tiny and very steep, and if you have trolleys they become really dangerous. The bathroom is tiny. I add nothing but the suggestion to go elsewhere, the area is full of hotels worthy of the name, paying only a few tens of euros more per night.
