"The room is quite decent, and there are three Michelin-starred restaurants. For us Chinese, an Italian restaurant with a meter of 1 meter is more suitable. The location is excellent (of course other luxury hotels in Paris have better locations)."

"I attended the graduation ceremony of my child studying in France and chose this family room. It is quite large and spacious. The bathroom is also very spacious and clean. It is also very convenient to travel. It is close to the subway and train station, and not far from the Galeries Lafayette and the Opera House."

"The hotel is very new and has a sense of design. The room is quite big (compared to European hotels) and the facilities are very new. Breakfast is also good, it is a buffet and a la carte. The restaurant on the 15th floor can see Notre Dame, Montmartre, and the Eiffel Tower. You can watch the Eiffel Tower light up and change at night. The location is on the Seine River (with no river visible) and very close to the Cité Peninsula, within four or five kilometers of the Louvre, Galeries Lafayette, and the Eiffel Tower."

"The location is good, it is the subway M1 line, because in the middle of the hutong and colleagues turned around 2 laps to find. The front desk is all men. Courtesy is still possible. Going out will also remind guests of their bags. . The typical French school of the elevator is super small. Fortunately, we live on the first floor. Most of the European hotels that need to bring their own slippers are like this. Overall it is still possible to recommend staying. Affordable"

"The location is very good, very close to the shopping center Lafayette and the Spring Department Store, walking about 600 meters. The overall environment is not bad, living in the city center but not very noisy, the room is not big, except for the toothbrush. I am going to France in the eleventh, so the housing price is high and the overall price/performance ratio is low."

"I only stayed here during my 2 nights and 3 days trip to Paris. When I woke up on the first day, I got a bug bite on my neck, but I thought it wasn't a bed bug. But after a while, the saliva spread to my arms. Stayed here and was bitten by a bed bug. I tried to save money in a cheap place, but only the treatment fee went several times. If you don't want to be like me, find a clean place even if you pay a little more."

I even inquired if it was ok to charge something for. mayo. Answer: no problem . The next morning bought a couple of croissant to be told , I was not allowed to charge to my room. I was quite embarrassed. Luckily, I had cash in my pocket. I asked reception for an explanation and received 3 different ones over the next 24 hours. Basically the gist is that Euro 250, is not enough to cover the purchase of a couple of croissant. Had they asked for more deposit, I would have happily obliged. Upon entering the room, we noticed the safe was locked since previous guest, so we had to call security. At night, still suffering from jet lag, we woke up in the middle of the night and decided to make a cup of tea. Unfortunately, tea had not been replenished since previous guest. This is our 6th stay, the last one being last July Not sure what happened since our last stay, but the service has dropped to what is now an unacceptably low level. It seems the ( very large) hotels focus on quantity at the expense of quality . What a shame…

GGuest UserA Stunning Aesthetic Marred by Disappointing Service My recent stay at Hôtel Dame des Arts allowed me to immerse myself in the splendor of the awe-inspiring interior design crafted by Raphel Navot and indulge in the allure of the popular rooftop bar, which undoubtedly left a positive and lasting impression. The interior design of the hotel was a masterpiece in itself, with Raphel Navot's talent evident in every detail. The ambiance exuded elegance and sophistication, creating an atmosphere that truly enhanced the overall guest experience. Additionally, the rooftop bar provided breathtaking views of Paris, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and enjoyment. Regrettably, the overall experience was overshadowed by a combination of disappointments, notably the service at the ground floor cafe. The male employee with a beard exhibited a dismissive and inattentive demeanor during my interactions with him. His lack of attentiveness made me feel overlooked, leaving me hesitant to further explore the cafe's offerings. While I typically do not demand exceptional service, this level of inattentiveness fell short even of my usual expectations. This attitude displayed by this specific employee overshadowed the positive hospitality offered by all other employees at the hotel, leaving a bittersweet impression of the overall service. Furthermore, my stay was marred by a billing issue, resulting in double charging for my fully prepaid reservation. Such an oversight was embarrassing. On a positive note, I must commend the other hotel staff, particularly those at the reception and rooftop bar areas, for their accommodating nature, contributing to a more pleasant overall experience. In conclusion, Hôtel Dame des Arts undoubtedly showcased a dedication to exceptional design and ambiance. However, the combination of one inattentive employee and the billing concerns left me with a mixed impression. I firmly believe that fostering a culture of attentive and respectful service, along with diligent billing practices, is essential to delivering an exceptional guest experience. By addressing these issues, Hôtel Dame des Arts can elevate its reputation and ensure that every guest is treated with the care and professionalism they rightfully deserve. A seamless harmony of remarkable aesthetics and attentive service will undoubtedly make for an even more remarkable stay at this captivating hotel.

GGuest UserI first stayed at this Hotel in 2014 and was very impressed with the entire experience, so I valued this hotel and always wanted to return… 8 years later and I was extremely disappointed. I booked a superior villa room, and we was given room 6. This room is located on the ground floor directly behind the reception reception desk on the ground floor. The receptionist (skinny white male, 40+ years old) who checked us in on 15/12/22 at 11:30pm was very rude, awkward and sarcastic during the check in process. When we got to our room, we felt it lacked privacy being on the ground floor with only a wall between us and the main reception area, the Toilet was also in a separate room with no sink, meaning anyone who uses that toilet would need to open the door with their dirty hands and walk all the way to the bathroom to wash hands. There were also mascara stains on one of the pillows. We requested if we could change to another room on a higher floor but to the same level for what we had paid for (superior villa room). The receptionist said this was fine, and changed us over to another room on the 5th floor. We were really happy and grateful until we got to the room, only to find this room was actually a downgrade to a ‘classic villa room’ which felt much smaller and wasn’t very nice. This also wasn’t explained to us prior to him changing our rooms over. We returned to reception and asked why we had been out in a downgraded room, his response was he didn’t realise and this was a mistake in his behalf. I asked him if there were any other rooms to the same value as what I had paid for the superior room available on another floor. I was told out of the entire hotel there was only two rooms left, the one behind reception, or the classic room on the 5th floor which would be a downgrade. We reluctantly opted to stay with the original room behind reception. The receptionist was very smug and seemed to find this funny. After settling in and falling asleep… 6:30am a motorbike wakes us up, as our room is located beside the main entrance and reception we hear every car or motorbike dropping off, or picking up guests, and every person checking in or out. 7:15am the bins are collected, again very loud and as our room is right next to this area we hear it all. It really seems standards have significantly dropped since we last stayed. Service seems to be poor and cleanliness of the hotel not as good as before, an overall terrible experience and if it wasn’t so late when we checked in I would’ve booked another hotel because the receptionist was so rude. On a side note, I must also say there was another receptionist who was working the night shift the following day (16/12/22) around 10pm and he was very friendly, helpful and a nice person. If I could give him 5 stars I would, but unfortunately the experience with the initial receptionist meant our experience was already tainted by this point. I doubt we will ever return unfortunately, and cannot recommend, unless your guaranteed a decent room on a higher floor.

AAnonymous UserAccessibility and Location: We were mindful that Montmarte is a hilly, cobbled location; therefore, on arrival and departure taxi or Uber would be the most convenient way with large luggages. It's brilliantly located within walking distances of fabulous bars, restaurants, and main sights of Montmarte. About 450-550 meters within Metro stops of Lamarck and Chateau Rouge. Cleanliness: The room we were in had a bit of a body odour smell on arrival, which was disappointing. Thankfully the windows can be opened so that solved the issue. Comfort: Beds and pillows were comfortable. Service: Good breakfast service. The staff were welcoming and attentive. Good coin laundry service.

ZZILIIn Depth Experience Report of LYF Gambetta Hotel Paris - A Genuine Guest's Pleasant Surprise Introduction: As a frequent traveler who has stayed in numerous hotels across France, choosing the LYF brand this time upon a friend’s recommendation was a completely new experience. As a first time guest of this brand and someone unfamiliar with this particular area of Paris, I documented my stay with an entirely objective perspective, and it turned out to exceed expectations. Facilities: The hotel is brand new, and while there was a faint hint of paint smell in the room (likely due to recent renovations), the overall facilities are thoughtfully designed with a youthful, practical, and distinctive style. My base room was around 20 square meters—already significantly larger than other Parisian accommodations in the same price range. According to the website, the hotel also offers family friendly options with kitchens, loft style rooms, and more. The complimentary bedtime tea was excellent a well known French brand also sold at Lafayette ,perfect for unwinding at night. The coffee provided wasn’t quite to my taste, but it was still decent. The basement level (B1) features a laundry room, entertainment area, gym, co-working space, and meeting rooms, all uniquely designed. Notably, there’s a shared kitchen fully equipped for guests to cook their own meals ,a fantastic amenity! Service: It’s clear that the hotel’s opening team is still in training, and while some staff members appeared slightly inexperienced, their dedication was evident. Every request I made was promptly addressed. One employee, Helana, stood out-when she noticed I seemed unsure in the laundry room one evening, she proactively approached me, asked if everything was alright, and offered a solution. The next day, I observed her energetically assisting other colleagues. When I complimented her, she humbly replied that she genuinely enjoys helping others and even shared useful insights about the hotel’s facilities. Another front desk lady (whose name I regrettably forgot) was consistently warm and smiling, resolving my queries with kindness and even granting me a late checkout. Outstanding service like this truly minimizes travel hassles and adds delightful surprises to the journey. Impressed by LYF’s service, I decided to extend my stay by five more nights for a deeper experience. Safety & Transportation: Some had warned that this district might not be the safest, but my stay proved otherwise. The area is well connected, just a five-minute walk to the metro and feels like a residential neighborhood with an artistic vibe. One night, I returned to the hotel at 3 AM via night bus and walked back without issue, as the streets were still lively with people chatting or on dates. The area is both tranquil and culturally vibrant. Dining: Plenty of supermarkets and restaurants are within easy walking distance, making dining options convenient. Booking Recommendation: Ideal for travelers seeking an ”authentic local living” experience, young families, or digital nomads. The base room offers great value, while longer stays may warrant upgrading to a kitchen equipped unit. Final Thoughts: Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. Considering its location, price, safety, facilities, and service, it stands out as the best I’ve experienced in Paris. While not the most luxurious, it’s undoubtedly a unique space that lets you feel the pulse of the city. My stay was so enjoyable that I’ve decided to book another five nights after returning from Nice. I’ll share an update after my second stay!

TThe.snacking.gypsyI booked a room in an eight-bed mixed dorm. While the room itself was spacious, the noise from the lockers was unbearable—every time someone tried to take something out, it felt like it would wake up everyone. The toilet was quite large and clean, but the shower curtain was in poor condition, stinking, and covered with hard water stains. Also, the soap dispenser was empty. That said, the location was great, and for Paris, the price was excellent. You do have to pay €5 for a padlock and €3 for a towel, but there’s a bar downstairs where you can get drinks late. The breakfast is a steal at €7, or even €5 on special offers. You really get what you pay for! The staff is absolutely fabulous nonetheless, I Asked Ms Constanza for directions to the Christmas market and she obliged.

EEricDecent hotel - fine for the price but not really a 4 star hotel in my opinion. Location was alright. It’s relatively easy to get there (10 min walk from the metro, at the end of the 4 Porte de Clignancourt line) but it’s not really by anything in itself and environment was not nice. For my room, size was adequate but was pretty basic and cleanliness left a little to be desired (there was a random long hair on my towel?). Staff is nice and helpful though.
