Paris 14th arrondissement-Observatoire Hotels

Hotel’s hardware is good and new, while the service is mediocre where their air conditioning system is switching itself off every 15mins which made me unable to sleep at all and forced to swap room at 5am. While their hotline is not working at all during the first night where i had to go to the lobby myself at 5 am. The rest of the stay is fine while they apologized for the air con mishap. The street outside the hotel is under construction currently and is very dark at night, might made people feel a bit dodgy at night while i can see people smoking **** at the park nearby per photo. This is kind of expected given the convenient location of the hotel.

Overall experience was pretty good. Room was spacious and clean. Hotel location was perfect for us to stay a night, and caught a train the day after. Lot of restaurants close by, and a supermarket Monoprix opened 7 days until 11:30pm was a plus. Staff were polite and helpful, speaking both in French and English. The only down side was not enough AC in the room, an electric fan was placed in our room, but we didn’t use it, electric fan had no way to replace AC. Giving the price and proximity to Gare Montparnasse, I would stay there again.

The room is very clean Environment: Nice environment Service: Friendly service Facilities: Microwave and refrigerator are very good, the bed is very comfortable, the tatami is very suitable for family stay, the mattress is comfortable and the bed is very wide! A family can stay, 4 people are no problem at all, slippers cost 5 euros

The hotel is in a good location, just 200-300 meters away from the subway station. The double room is small, but the family suite is quite spacious, with a 1.8-meter bed and a 1.4-meter sofa bed. There are no slippers and disposable toothbrushes in the double room, but they are provided in the family room. The gym facilities are very complete. In winter, at 7:15 in Paris, it is still dark, and the gym is full, and there are group classes. The breakfast is not bad, especially the croissants and avocado salad, but the variety is a bit limited. I stayed for three nights and had the same breakfast every day. It is quite cost-effective.

That was my second time staying at Drawing House . What we like about : Location : it conveniently located to Metro with 2 min walk and very near to Montparnasse train station . It located in a very quiet and clean street. Few minutes walk to grocery stores and bakery . gelato shop is about 10 mins away. Service : we love the check-in staff. They were very welcoming and helpful. Amenity: providing slipper , shampoo, shower gel and location . Parking : very secured private parking . We don’t like : the only thing we don’t like is the sink . It is too small to have morning facial cleaning and tooth blushing . Overall we had a good time . For sure we will staying in Drawing House in our next visit .

We occupied two rooms and both rooms were excellent. Cleanliness, comfort, bed - everything is super. Nice area! Quiet. The price / quality ratio is the best for Paris. Nearby there are 2 excellent bakeries where you can grab a coffee and pastries / desserts early in the morning. Near the metro on the turquoise line there is an inexpensive and delicious cafe. Really delicious! The staff at the hotel is polite, tried to help us. Delicious candies at the reception.

Absolutely lovely stay. Comfortable beds. Great hospitality and staff. Can't fault it one bit! Great location too. Chromecast in every room too which makes it easy to watch entertainment without bringing any extra gadgets. Shopping mall across the street. A lovely breakfast cafe opposite too. Many different other shops around. Very lovely area. Would most definitely visit again!

The staff were all very welcoming and friendly, in particular those staff on the reception area. It was refreshing to experience such excellent levels of customer service. The area in which the hotel is located is lovely with some excellent restaurants nearby, we loved i grappoli (Italian) and Yaai Thai. Whilst the decor of the hotel is pretty dated, it does have a charm about it. The furnishes did look rather tired in places too (particularly the bathroom) however the comfy room and excellent balcony view along with the great hospitality made up for this for us. We got a great rate on the hotel which included breakfast. Breakfast items included: croissants & pain au chocolates, breads, granola, yoghurts, cheese & meats, a selection of jams and preserves inc chocolate spread and eggs which you could boil to your liking in a little machine. Breakfast is from I think around 7/7.30am to 10.30am. We had breakfast at around 10am and never struggled to get a table which was great. The hotel is a couple of minutes walk from the Denfert-Rochereau metro station (line 6 metro & RER station) so you can either get the RER direct to/from Charles de Gaulle airport or get the metro to Porte Maillot metro station to get the bus to Beauvais airport. All in all I would recommend this hotel as we had a fabulous time experience, the icing on the cake was a surprise view of the Eiffel Tower from our balcony.

The hotel is 9 minutes away from Line 4 and 5 minutes away from T2a light rail. It is convenient for travel and quiet in a busy city. It is just a little far from commercial facilities, about 5 minutes. The hotel services, facilities and prices are consistent. Good value for money!

I wanted a hotel close to where my brother and his wife was staying. Apparently this hotel is only 3 star, but I can honestly say the bed was really comfortable, and the pillows are some of the best I’ve ever slept on. Breakfast is very simple but more than ample, with great coffee, and the staff were all absolutely lovely
