I happened to be in Paris during a heatwave. It was 40 degrees Celsius, and the air conditioning was inadequate. The lobby AC worked fine, but the AC in my room blew warm air and was very noisy, making it impossible to sleep at night. The cleanliness also needs significant improvement. What's more, there was no water in the room; I had to take a kettle to the hallway to fill it up. Many of my compatriots complain about Marriott hotels back home, but you'll truly appreciate how good they are when you see that the Paris Airport Marriott costs ¥1900 a night and doesn't even have proper air conditioning!
Very good service. Perfect located near Garniers opera. Room: nice and spacious, but the window didnt give much light/view, in a corner of a small yard.

The hotel isn't in the city center, but with a metro and bus station nearby, it's not too far from the main attractions.
Being outside the city center also means better value for money. For getting to the airport or train station, I'd recommend taking an Uber.
As we were a group of three, we opted for a suite. The room size was quite spacious for European standards. Even though the sofa bed was in the living room, having two bathrooms for getting ready was a huge plus, and we also had access to the executive lounge – perfect for a drink after a day of sightseeing.
The downside would probably be the service, which wasn't quite up to par. Although there was a Mandarin-speaking staff member at the front desk, we asked them to set up the sofa bed before we left, only to return after half a day of touring to find it still a sofa. We had to call again to urge them, and after the staff member finally made it up, they gave us a look clearly expecting a tip... Service that needs to be chased isn't worth a tip.
