Premier Inn Fareham

No complaints at all about my stay here: clean room, comfortable bed and very quiet at night. The breakfast was also good, with vegetarian sausages cooked to order when we asked for them. There is a TGI Friday's opposite if you want to eat somewhere close.

The Premier Plus room had a lovely modern design. Reminded me of a much more expensive room in a London hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable. The rainfall shower was amazing. The Blackout curtains & temp control are fab. The Nespresso coffee machine was great & all the little included extras were a nice touch. And it was all very clean & the staff were very attentive so I will definitely stay again.

We stayed in a double room for one night, we arrived before check in but wanted to find the hotel before we attended the function we were going to. The member of staff was really helpful and explained check in etc for when we returned later in the evening. Arrived later on Charles checked us in very informative and helpful and booked us in for breakfast the following morning. Parking was easy with no registration details required etc. We had room 29 which was on the ground floor, comfortable and clean with everything we needed (it was a bit of a trek from the main reception - but kept our steps for the day up.) Check out on Sunday morning was equally so simple and easy. Breakfast was lovely with everything you could ask for - hot drinks, juices, bread / toast, croissants, jams, cereals, yoghurts, bacon, eggs, sausage, mushroom, tomatoes, beans, black pudding and hash brown. I found Tina on the hot breakfast counter really helpful when I had a request, she took the time to explain why she couldn't cook something as I prefer, I realise I'm a little awkward with my fried eggs but she was apologetic and explain fully why she couldn't do as I had requested. It wasn't an issue as the scrambled eggs were lovely. We will definitely use this hotel again when we need to stop in the area later in the year. Thank you to all the friendly, happy staff we encountered not a grumpy face in site.

the bed was very comfortable but the dust in the room was quite plain to see. The bedhead was really dusty along the top edge and it had not been dusted for sometime considering the dust that we wiped off. The tv also needed dusting. There was no toilet roll in the toilet and only one hand towel and one bath towel to be used by 2 people. Reception staff sorted this out for us.

First time at this hotel and I can say it was a lovely stay. Very nice and warm welcome from the team. All our requests were fullfield by the team. Breakfast -plenty of choice. Yes, the rooms look tired but this didn't had any impact for us and they are due refurbishment end of January so looking forward to coming back in summer.

The cooked breakfast and the staff in the breakfast room were excellent. The room was a little on the cold side with an inadequate heater. The bathroom is definitely not suited for persons with any slight disability which affects support or balance issues as there were no grab rails in the bathroom or in the shower area.
