Hotels with Parking in Fitzroy

"Almost everything here was great, and the staff is lovely. My only complaint is that the noise from the doors shutting loudly in the hallway is quite bad (at least on the 4th floor). It woke me up several times, and is even quite rattling during the day since the walls seem to shake whenever the doors open and close (I think the hospitality closet is also nearby so the frequency increases during those hours as well). They do provide a UE Wonderboom 3 speaker in each room which helps block out some of the noise, so that's a nice touch. Overall, very happy to be staying here and it's in great proximity to explore the charms of Fitzroy, Collingwood, Carlton, Brunswick, etc. They also did double-charge my credit card despite the reservation being prepaid, so once I caught that, I had to email and call to have that reversed, and the refund came back lower than the initial (mistake) charge due to forex conversions, so I lost a few bucks for a charge that should have never happened, which is frustrating. Still 4-stars overall though."

"My daughter and I had a two bedroom apartment which had a whole separate floor for living area. So much space and very comfortable rooms and bathroom. We utilised the pool a few times which was wonderful and clean. Multiple tram lines were metres away and we were so close to both the city and Fitzroy which was perfect, we could easily come back for a rest in between activities. The front desk was helpful when we needed advice and were accommodating to store our luggage after check out. The only negative would be to install soft close door mechanisms on some doors. There was one that created a bang so incredibly loud it made me jump every time and woke me up a few times."

"Not recommended for those who value their personal data security and privacy. Not recommended for internati9nal travellers who may not have enough charge on their phones to complete 3 forms, then download and set up an app that requires constant internet and Bluetooth connections. Booking required multiple insecure methods of sharing credit card details and identification documents along with 2 forms to fill out with personal details and an app to download in order to gain access to the Building entrance, Elevator, and Apartment. None of this information was given to me prior to booking. I would not have stayed here if I had known the extent of insecure transmission of personal information and amount of admin and work required just to check in and stay one night. I work in this space and know the risks. Management is putting guests personal data at risks with the excessive documentation requests. FYI, requiring someone to send credit card PICTURES and ID pictures over email is completely insecure. This is bizarrely at odds with the excessive security to get into the building. The constant need to carry your phone everywhere or you'd be locked of the apartment or even the whole building was extremely stressful. In terms of the actual room, once I got in, the bed, kitchen, lounge and floors were clean but the toilet had not been cleaned in a long time. This was not nice. You could see parts under the rim had not been cleaned in years. Toilet had also been recently used and not flushed properly upon arrival. I did not take photos of any of this, it was too gross. I ended up buying paper cups as the glasses/cups as those supplied were not clean, tried to take a picture but it's hard to see. They were covered in fingerprints and fibres of some kind. The view was nice and loungeroom was great, study nook was extremely handy for remote work. Balcony tiles are moving and could be a tripping hazard. Laundry was well equipped but did not have time to use it."

"The hotel sent an email in advance to inform the reception time and ask about the expected arrival time to do a good job in the reception. The hotel has convenient transportation, its own paid parking lot, the hotel is comfortable, quiet, the room is clean and tidy, it is recommended."

"The facilities are very good and clean, the disadvantage is that the surrounding environment is a bit scary. We stayed at night so we were a little scared at the time, mainly worried about public security. But with the arrival of the day, there are many concerns that have decreased a lot."
