"Our cabin (#7) was clean, comfortable, and right on the river. Beautiful view! The kitchen was equipped with all the basic dishes, pots, cutlery, etc., that we needed. Before and during our stay, staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. There was plenty of wood for the wood stove, and the cabin was warm when we arrived; staff had already started the fire for us. Lots of hot water, and the water pressure in the shower was great. The pub nearby was very convenient, and I thought the ”Best Damn Burger, Period” lived up to its name. Our experience differed from some of the other reviewers - accommodations are basic, but it is a cabin after all. We had TV, could connect to the internet, did not have leaking or odor issues, and there was no plastic on the windows. It was a relaxing weekend retreat. Would love to visit again to take in those river views in other seasons."
