"We stayed here for 3 nights and loved the layout and setting around gardens and quiet location on the edge of town with an easy 10 mins walk to the action mid the Main Street.
The welcome was wonderful with a welcome drink and home made cookie. The. Breakfast spread was diverse and healthy with the option of hot options upon ordering.
We were disappointed not to receive more information on arrival after moving to another hotel in San Pedro we were given much local information of places to visit, opening hours, prices, how to obtain tickets etc..as these seem to change regularly so would be helpful for independent guests.
As someone mentioned it would be great to offer the activities such as yoga earlier to enable breakfast after class before going exploring.
The pool and surrounds are very pleasant but would be improved with some more shade offered with umbrellas or covered areas."

"A super beautiful small resort where many European and American tourists live. The hotel has complete facilities, rich breakfast, and the small travel agency and restaurant are very good, and you can stay for a day without going out. There is a car to the center of the town every half an hour. At night, looking at the night scene in the yard to see the starry sky is really amazing. The stars in the sky are super beautiful. I have never seen such a beautiful starry sky after going to dozens of countries. The most distinctive hotel on this South American trip, highly recommended!"

Gateway to the desert and San Pedro de Atacama in the city s main economic and commercial center, near the Plaza mall, Marina del Sol casino and CODELCO office. 5 mins from center and bus terminal. 20 mins from El Loa airport. WiFi, cable TV, breakfast, restaurant, 24-hour snack bar, parking, air-conditioned rooms. Pet friendly.
"The room is a bit small. There is no place to put the big suitcase when it is opened. It can only be placed at the door. It is inconvenient to get in and out. The distance between the table and the bed is small. Pulling out the chair can touch the bed, which is inconvenient.
The soundproofing is not very good. You can hear water being discharged from other rooms and flushing the toilet.
The air conditioner is not powerful and the sound is still loud. I can only sleep with earplugs.
Breakfast is okay, but you can only eat it at 7 o'clock. You can't eat when you go out. I don't know if others have experienced taking it away.
The hotel has a restaurant, but the price is too expensive. There is no English menu and the waiter does not speak English. It is inconvenient.
I think the only advantage is that there is a big supermarket opposite, where you can buy some food without having to go to restaurants all the time.
There was an incident when I went there. We had a car, and I went to the front desk to ask where I could park. Of course I stayed here, but the front desk gave me directions to the supermarket parking lot, but that was a public parking lot, which was famous in the local area. I broke the window and grabbed something. After checking in, the front desk told me that the hotel had its own parking lot and drove the car over. Hey, I think this is very bad. Why not just drive to the hotel parking lot and then check in? It's very inconvenient."

"This hotel is great! It is the most satisfactory hotel I have stayed in in the past six months.
1. Good location. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the city center.
2. Quiet. No noise. 3. Good environment. The structure of the hotel is like in a villa community, and the environment is beautiful.
4. Clean. When I entered the room, the towels, quilts and sheets of the hotel were as white as snow, extremely clean and pleasing to the eye.
5. Good service. The front desk and restaurant staff of the hotel are enthusiastic.
6. Humanized. My flight is at 3:30 pm. I called the front desk to apply for check-out at 2 pm. The front desk agreed and told me that I could check out before 4 pm. Wow, so humanized and convenient, so happy. Thank you Ctrip and the hotel for making me very satisfied."

"Homely lodging. We picked this place for its quietness. It can be a little out of the way, but as we drive it wasnt a problem.shuttle service to town is provided at intervals. Service was sub-par as there were some gaps in what i would consider as being hospitable. There's a small pool and hammock to lounge around, if the weather is right. What light up my day was the dogs/cats staying there. Good place for animal lovers. :)"

The lodge is 3km outside of town and thus has a quiet setting away from the dust and traffic of San Pedro. The staff was exceptional. They gave us helpful trips for sightseeing, helped us to order a taxi when we didn’t feel like driving to town, and were always so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is very good and there is 24h free (and very good) coffee. On top of that, the pool is super refreshing, clean and with plenty of chairs and even a fridge with cold drinks (which you have to pay for of course but the prices are super fair). Bedroom and bathroom was exceptional as well. We loved our stay at Lodge Quelana!

Pros: -Spacious room that was impeccably clean. -Fridge in room -Friendly staff -No AC not necessary as cool during the day and sufficiently warm (with blanket provided) at night. Of note, we were there during the month of March. Cons: -Wi-fi in the reception area but no Wi-Fi in the room -Hot water was spotty. If you ran the shower long enough, you would usually get hot water...but one hates to waste water, especially in the desert. -Breakfast was lackluster and did not change from day to day (rolls, jam, butter, cereal, powdered milk, ham, cheese, one fruit). One day they ran out of food. Although, it seems that breakfasts at hotels in San Pedro are generally not great. Other: -Staff don't speak much English but if you know a little Spanish, you will be fine. -Staff very nice but reception was not always staffed and it could be a nuisance to track someone down. -Parking is outside during the day. At night, they recommend bringing the car inside the compound given the dust at night. If staff was not around, it was a pain to find someone to unlock the parking area to bring the car in/out. -There is a small pool but we only used it once for about 10 minutes as whatever chemicals they use to treat the water caused the eyes to burn. -No hairdryer or Kleenex in the room. If you anticipate needing either, bring your own. -Slightly out outside of town. Not an issue for us as we had a car. Giving it 3 stars due to the hot water issue, no wi-fi in room, and difficulty tracking down staff at times. If none of these elements are important to you, then you will be happy here.

Less than five minutes walk from the bus stop, the door is not big, there is no hole in the sky, very professional small hotel, clean, no smell, usually Fernando is taking care of, not English, the room is not big, everything is available, fan, there is an open-air garden at the door. It is very quiet during the day and night. It will be a little moving in the morning. It takes ten minutes to walk to the center. When you are walking, it is not easy to take a taxi. It is more important to go to the bus stop!

The hotel is the lowest-end hotel in the South American Tour Hotel, but the most friendly and intimate. The first hotel actively provides 24-hour hot drinking water, including pure water bubble water and anti-high anti-coca leaves. Every night, ask you about breakfast time. Hot milk is provided for breakfast. The restaurant's production is very friendly to Guangzhou's stomach. After trying two meals on the street, I decided to solve three meals a day at the hotel. In order to facilitate contact, I re-downloaded WhatsApp that has not been used for a long time. The front desk was very patient to teach ** and enter all the people I should contact for... Hot drinking water hot milk Too friendly to the Chinese stomach.

The hotel (homestay) is very close to the pedestrian street in the town and it is more convenient to be 100 meters away. This is a big advantage. There are trees and flowers in the yard, so there is no atmosphere. And the hotel provides a convenient homemade breakfast such as a toast driver, a refrigerator.
Although my room was outside the hotel at the street intersection, I could adapt. The problem is that the water heater in the bath in the room is a problem. The contact is often powered off. I have controlled my bath time within three minutes, but I have to cut off the electricity several times for a bath. The pressure is very high. After all, it is a plateau and cannot catch cold. Wifi is also a problem, slow and weak signal, very inconvenient.

The inside of the room was clean and tidy. WiFi etc. were also available without problems. However, the hot water in the shower was not very warm.
The location of the hostel takes less than 10 minutes to walk from the downtown, but I felt it was good value considering the price.
