"This is the second time I have given Yunnan a non-five-star hotel. The first is Lijiang. HHuodexiangzhimaoThe hotel is located in the Yi People's Ancient Town. While it's called an ancient town, it's actually a man-made scenic spot. As a result, it's practically deserted, with 70% of the shops closed. It's eerily quiet during the day. Unexpectedly, at night, the bustling sounds of square singers wafted through my window until 11:30 PM. The room's soundproofing was poor; I could clearly hear conversations in the hallway. The door had a wide gap, letting in light. The bed faced the main door, and I didn't sleep well. The internet connection suddenly went offline after a while, requiring me to remove the room card and re-insert it for a minute to restore it. The smart curtain switches didn't work without internet, and I couldn't open or close them manually. The room was clean and the service was good.

The small night market opposite is very lively at night, offering a variety of local snacks and fruits, allowing people to easily experience the authentic Chuxiong flavor. It is also very convenient to visit the ancient town.
The hotel's service team is very enthusiastic and provides guests with considerate service. If you drive there by car, you can park for free by contacting the hotel in advance. If you park anywhere in the ancient town, you will basically be charged. When I left, I stopped at the canteen to buy a bottle of water and it took less than five minutes and I was charged two yuan.
The hotel's facilities are generally good, but during our stay, the phone in the room was disconnected. According to the hotel, the previous guest may have broken it when the two beds were combined. The TV also lacked screen projection function. However, the equipped smart toilet and Xiaodu smart assistant add a lot of convenience and comfort to the accommodation experience. In addition, the fruit in the hotel is delicious and there are free popsicles.
Overall, the stay experience exceeded our expectations and was a pleasant surprise. The hotel's location, service and facilities are all satisfactory. If we have the opportunity to come to Chuxiong next time, we will consider choosing this hotel.

Among the many attractions, we chose to take our children to the museum to learn about the culture, history and customs of the Yi people. It is a relatively niche museum with very unique architecture and ethnic characteristics, including dinosaurs. Egg fossils, ”Mei Ge” murals, etc., the costumes of the Yi ethnic group are the highlights. The strong national color also strengthens the implicit aesthetics. There are not many people after the long holiday. It takes about two hours to finish the tour. The decoration of the hotel gives people a sense of comfort.
