"Everything is fine. The hotel is located right by the sea, has its own clean beach, a tap for washing feet, free bike rentals and sand accessories for children. The view from the room is simply cosmic! But everything was somewhat overshadowed by very simple breakfasts... For several days there was not even simple rice for breakfast, it was difficult to feed the children."

"The hotel looks relatively new and is family friendly. There is a play area for kids and the hotel also provides some spades and buckets to play at the beach. The hotel is located in a quiet area but still within walking distance to Laohushi sea and not too far away from Geziwo Park. We also booked a room with sea view - we didn’t get a full view of the sea but with the price we paid, it was a good deal. The room was comfortable and clean. We stayed for 2 nights and there was no cleaning service but replaced towels. We also got a free gift (snacks) from the hotel when we checked out. Breakfast however wasn’t very interesting…. We enjoyed our stay at Aishang Hotel."

"We very much enjoyed our stay . Staff were very welcoming, kind and helpful. Very convenient location, a stone throw away from the beach. A mall is about 10 minutes away in a taxi.
The only aspect we feel needs to improve is the breakfast. The menu was always the same which made a longer stay experience a bit boring, not always looking forward to dining. Perhaps changing a few items in the menu every morning will make that exceptional experience. Otherwise, an amazing hotel-keep it up!"

The hotel also allowed me to borrow a baby stroller for free by paying a deposit. The hotel was so cozy. The location of this hotel is very good. The beach is across the road. I was so happy to see the sea when I went out. It is also very close to Xiaonan Night Market in the evening. It takes about 5 minutes to get there. There are all kinds of delicious food and it is cheap. It is mainly because it looks appetizing. The hotel rooms are very clean, the bedding is also very new, especially the dry and wet separated bathroom, which is also very well decorated. It has five-star reviews.

"We stayed at this hotel during the Chinese New Year holiday and had a wonderful experience. The hotel feels new and modern, with a delightful fragrance throughout—especially in the hallways. Our favorite aspects were the spacious room and the stunning bathtub overlooking the ocean. The kids absolutely loved it!
The hotel's beachfront location is a major plus. Even though we visited in winter, we were lucky enough to experience snowfall on the beach, which felt surreal and added a magical touch to our stay.
The indoor swimming pool on the top floor is decent, offering great views, while breakfast was plentiful and varied. We particularly enjoyed the pastries section. The Chinese restaurant next to the swimming pool is highly recommended—perfect for when you don’t feel like going out, and the food was delicious. The in-room dining service was also excellent.
Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I’m already looking forward to returning in the summer to try their outdoor swimming pool, which was closed during winter."

GGuest UserBooked two days from Ctrip.com. When we checked in at less than five in the afternoon, the elevator was under maintenance. We climbed the stairs to the fourth floor. We thought the environment was OK, the sanitary conditions were OK, and the facilities were relatively new, so we didn't mind staying there. Then we went out with the children and went back at about 9:40 in the evening. Because we were tired after running outside all day, we were ready to wash and rest. As a result, the water flowing out of the faucet was red and yellow, mixed with mud. I called the front desk twice before a young man came and said he would deal with it immediately. I kept draining the water from the room, but the water quality didn't change. I called the front desk again and they replied that they would change our room to the front floor. After that, no one paid attention to us anymore. I felt that the service of this hotel was average, the breakfast was average, and there were not many varieties. In short, I felt that it was not worth the high price. The first picture attached is the water quality at the beginning, and the next one is half an hour after draining the water.

GG. Solo TravelerJ had a lovely stay at the Argyle resort and the fact that you just need to cross the parking lot to get to the Dongshan Bathing Spot is definitely amazing! There are some tourist attractions close by, but very far from historical sites.
The room was ok, but it looked different from the pictures. Probably a bit of mold on the wall or water damage, dirty windows, and a piece of the wardrobe door was broken. Not what I would expect at a resort.
The breakfast had so many options, but very few western choices, limited to sliced bread, butter and jam, yogurt, fruits and coffee. The coffee machine always had an issue, but the staff quickly came to fix it. During my stay there, everyday someone complained about the coffee maker.
One of the things that I found really nice is that every day they would bring or leave fruit in my room. But on the last day, I was sleeping, and someone came in. She did apologize, but it was weird having someone in your room while you’re there.
In terms of amenities, they have everything really! From shower cap to razors. And the blow dryer was really good!
Because it was golden week, the staff was overwhelmed with work (lots of guests and weddings) and they didn’t talk about the facilities - gym, pool, hot springs.

RRichterA true 5 Star experience. The room is top notch with a large window overlooking the sea. Service is outstanding in all categories. Breakfast is full and rich. The hotel dinner buffet is so extraordinary that I say you must try it at least once! We were amazed at the variety of dishes and the quality. Hotel location is perfect. Just a few minutes walk and you can have your feet in the sand or water. The Qinhuang Alley Food Street is also within walking distance or very short cab ride. This food street is very lively and fun to visit especially in the evening. Two other recommendations for things to do are Lao Long Tou (Old Dragon Head) which you can get to by cab. And if you are a fan of the Olympics you really should visit Olympic Avenue Park. Amazing relief sculpture wall over 300 meters long portraying Olympic history. Must be seen to be believed. Thank you to all the friendly and professional staff and chefs at Grand Hotel Qinhuang for making our 4 night stay so enjoyable. Qinhuangdao is a wonderful city with so many different things to do and experience we hope we can return again.

GGuest UserIt's my second time to come to this hotel. The last time was when my children were young. This year I brought my children here again. The hotel service staff is very good, especially Miss He Shan. She called us in advance to ask when we would arrive and if we had any requirements for accommodation. Because we were also bringing our elderly with us, they had difficulty walking, so we specifically asked for a room closer to the elevator. After we arrived, we found that our room was upgraded for free, and they also gave our children a small gift. It was really thoughtful. There is also a small train in the park, which is quite convenient to go here and there. Overall, the children had a lot of fun. I will come again next time when I have time.

YYumendelierenWhen checking in, all the staff at the front desk (at least four) were not very kind, not enthusiastic at all, mechanical, and it was obvious that there was a lack of training and disorderly. During the processing process, I asked me to pay a 200 deposit. I said that the food bar in the room was charged. I was afraid that the guests would not pay for it. I decisively refused and clearly told me that I would not eat. The staff at the front desk immediately changed their faces from mechanical processing to ignoring... I just made do with it for one night. What to say, I found out that the room next door was a wedding room. It would be very noisy early the next morning. In order to rest well, I asked for a room change. A staff member who changed the room for me made me feel like a spring breeze. It should be a deputy manager at the front desk (this kind of hotel position can't be so detailed, I have the impression that the badge shows this position), and I didn't have time to ask the name. Not only did I actively solve the problem, but also gave me two breakfasts, and the attitude was very good. To be honest, if it weren't for this staff, I wouldn't have five-star praise. I hope the hotel can praise this staff well.

You say the service is not good, the attitude is actually very good, you say it is good, there is indeed a lack of systematic service process training.
1. The front desk is like a little **, the check-in is not smooth, and after returning my ID card, I was given a garden access card in the house. I have never stayed in this hotel before and I don’t know, I thought it was a room card, I swiped it at the door of the room for a long time but it didn’t open, and then I saw a young man running down and apologizing for forgetting to give us the room card 😂
2. After entering the room, the bathroom is not very clean. There should be offset marks left by the toilet mat of the guest before, which were not wiped clean. There are ducks in the refrigerator that have been left for who knows how long, and they have grown hair. I called room service, and the big sister who came to disturb the hygiene also apologized one after another, and cleaned up the room, which was very neat and clean.
It is recommended that the hotel really strengthen the management process and improve it. It is really a good hotel with such a good location. Don’t be affected by these.

IIrodaThe location is great, the night view is incredibly beautiful.
But the hotel has very little understanding of privacy of their guests. A hotel personal entered our room without an invite while I was dressing up, another hotel worker took our picture without asking, front desk manager keeps all foreigner passport pictures in her personal phone. Should not hotel provide working phone to its personnels if it’s required to keep personal information from guests on phones?k
Also hotel price does not match the service they are providing. The hotel room surfaces was in dust, and they do not clean after each visitor, we found pair of shoes from previous visitors.

GGuest UserThe beach is right at the door. There is a small restaurant where you can have a buffet breakfast. It is clean and has freshly fried dough sticks. There are people singing on the beach at night. In the morning, turn left and walk for 10 minutes to watch the sunrise. The room is also very clean, well-equipped, with a large bed and good hot water. The room has Mediterranean-style blue furniture, which is pretty good. There are several buildings in his house. If you don't want to walk, call and ask. There is no sign at the door of his house, but the map location is very accurate
