"Our stay was excellent. The environment was serene, the gardens were beautifully maintained, and the rooms were clean and spacious. The toiletries provided were from Herborist, and the front desk even upgraded our room for free. The staff were all very friendly and greeted us with smiles.
Special mention goes to the hotel restaurant, Ban Zhu Yuan. The breakfast buffet was delicious, especially the eel paste soup noodles and the fried sauce noodles. For lunch, the stir-fried eel shreds and the loofah, salted egg, and shrimp soup were great. You absolutely must try the stir-fried lotus roots. However, I wouldn't recommend the Mianyang Steamed Delicacies or the Maozui Braised Chicken.
The scenic area isn't much fun in the summer. Activities are concentrated in the evening because it's too hot during the day to even leave your room. The evening motorcycle stunt show is worth seeing, and the fire dance performance is also good. The hotel is located right inside the scenic area, and you can drive your car directly to the hotel entrance. From the back exit, it's just a few minutes walk through the Jinshi Hall to the food street, where all the evening activities, including the Wow Paradise and Pet Paradise, take place. The motorcycle stunt show is right across from the hotel.
If I have the chance to visit again, I would definitely choose Tian'e Lake (Swan Lake) again."
