"Truly enjoyed my stay at ibis budget bordeaux centre gare saint jean. The staff were very friendly, helpful and the stay is comfortable and pleasant. The room is spacious and very clean. Baggage storage is available as the hotel as well. Hotel is well situated near subway station which is really convenient."

"The location of the hotel is excellent. There is a big market next to it with various snacks and nightlife. If you get up early, you should have fresh seafood. There is also a wine city where you can visit the winemaking process/taste different wines.
The queen bed room we stayed in had a very high ceiling, and it was very comfortable to sleep in even if it was not a very large room. The first floor was as high as the second and third floors, and it was very quiet. The room was also very clean, the sheets were all changed, and the bathroom was very spacious.
The public area was great, and it was not as flashy as other hotels. There was a puppy area, a photo booth, and especially a large terrace outside with sofas and lounge chairs, which was great. There was also a big screen to watch the game.
You can eat and drink in the public area, and many guests chat here. The front desk service was very enthusiastic, and they spoke English very well, and the experience was great."

"I recently stayed at this hotel, and overall, it was a good experience. "A bit quirky modern decoration, but the room is quite big, and everything is super clean with helpful staffs at all time (can feel the Marriott signature here). Gina restaurant on level 9 is not bad at all though a relatively limited a la carte menu (restaurant is also breakfast place with a very good breakfast buffet). There is also an indoor pool on level 9, great for winter though level of chlorine was quite high (so you don't soak as long as u wish?). I have not used the Gym, but equipments are aplenty and seems inbgood condition. Very good modern and functional hotel, only 10mins drive from downtown Bordeaux."

"The hotel is located very well at the intersection of transport lines and close to the center. From the airport it's about half an hour by tram. There are several bus stops to the station. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly. For breakfast they serve sausage and two types of cheese, yogurt, muesli, compote, fruit, juice, coffee, tea, bread and more. But a double room is very cramped even for one person. There is no closet, no bedside table, just a few hangers. The plumbing is clean, there is liquid soap. Cleaning is daily. Overall the impression is good."

"It was great. A great chart for those who want to stay in Bo-bo (boheme&burjuvazi) for the first time to go to Bordeaux. The rooms are quite clean, the hotel staff is quite helpful. We have faced a few very small problems. They resolved them quickly and did what they could for their redress."

Normally i book rooms in the 100-150E range. I decided to go a bit more luxurious and i tremendously enjoyed it. Im an easy going traveler, i was i Bordeaux to assess architecture and urbanism projects. I rented a bike to go around the city.
The hotel staff is very naturel an friendly, no rush to empty your wallet but rather making sure you have a great time...
Best hotel experience i had i a lon time travelling the globe. Wholeheartedly recommended!!

GGuest UserWe had a good stay in this hotel for a couple of days. The room is good sized, clean. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Although it's not at the center of the city, it's easy to get to the center by public transport, and there are few restaurants and supermarket nearby. It's definitely value for money for the same quality of accommodation in Bordeaux.

GGuyQuiet even in the middle of pedestrian streets for both shops and restaurants, all in abundance and for all budgets but above all in the middle of historic places and very close to the long promenade along the Garonne with its Place de la Bourse and the old stone bridge of Bordeaux!
Breakfast buffet with a wide choice, both hot and cold, breads and pastries, brioche and cakes, orange or lemon water, multiple fruit juices, and to top it off, canister coffees, coffee beans, teas, etc. and obviously a platter of cannelés, a tradition of Bordeaux hospitality!!!

EEffyOhh🟢 The location was very convenient and easy to travel around. We parked there and then used the tramway to get around. Convenient and easy. The inside of the building looks fresh and good. The rooms were quite big so we could spread everywhere. Surprised to see the toilets and showers separated, but enjoyable. Large choice for the breakfast for 18€ but had to wait sometimes for refill.
🔴 the staff wasn't really friendly except if you were the one to do your approach and talk to them. There was an alarm early morning during our stay and no-one was at the reception to greet us and tell us if we had to evacuate or anything. When we (other clients and us) told the réceptionnist it wasn't normal she got upset and replied back instead of apologising or anything. The staff didn't know what they were supposed to do in this case. Not reassuring if there's an actual fire someday.
🟡 cleaning wasn't amazing but could have been worse so no comment on that.

GGuest UserDisappointed. The room was small, the furnisture was tired and in dire need of refurbishment. Second-hand books were used as part of the room decor. To enter the bathroom, one needs to put one leg in with the other leg left outside and, with the door half-open, bring the other leg in - that's the only way to enter. The room standard is much lower compared to similar type of hotels in most other countries, while the price is significantly higher. The building opposite the hotel is boring-looking and is undergoing constuction. The closest underground car parking is a bit far away and is extremely pricy. Everything is pricy in that country, while the quality of living is lower compared to most other European countries. The city as a whole dissapoints. A lot of **** people, really **** on the streets! You see them everywhere selling self-made trinkets, however, when you return a few minutes later they are all gone - ostensibly swept away by the police. You also see a lot of homeless people who sleep outside. This is a result of incompetence and mismanagement by ****** and his life partner, apparently. The standard of living in this city has deteriorated significantly compared to what was the case 5-10 years ago. On the positive side, the hotel is clean, the personnel is friendly. The location and the surrounding area are OK, however, it takes 15-20 of walking to most major sites.

A revoir la propreté des chambres malheureu*****t,nous y avons séjourné 2 nuits mais la chambre n a pas été nettoyé les draps tout juste tirés avec le lit plus ou moins fait,les toilettes pas nettoyé,la moquette de la chambre pas aspiré et il manquait également une serviette que nous avons dû aller récupérer a l accueil donc a revoir quand même pour un 4 etoiles

The hotel is just opposite the high-speed rail station. It was chosen for the convenience of the train, but the surrounding security is normal and avoid going out alone at night.

Here's the pro about apparteo (Good location next to the bassins a flot, really nice view during my stay which you could see a beautiful sunset 🌇 , bus station just in front of the hotel and not too far away the tram station cité du vin which is only 5 Stations away from Center of Bordeaux, you have also Les hangars not far away which is one of the most peaceful place to walk day or night, I mean Apparteo position is actually really good, everything looked clean except a few things but doesn't bother, it is a also a residence of students)
Now about the cons, if someone didn't help me, I couldn't have entered the building nor having access to do the check-in, in fact you need a pin code that I Never received which the card of your room is inside with other card which can be a little bit odd, anyway can have access to it, the office was close each time I try to check someone no matter the time, the smell in the bathroom was really unpleasant but I could manage to get over it from opening every window and little perfume, but it come back if I keep the door close of the bathroom
The table where I was eating was moving a lot, but honestly other than those few cons that can be managed, it was a really pleasant stay, I enjoyed a lot and could sleep really well, calm, peaceful, nice view
I highly recommend this place as the few cons can be solved easily, just wished to see someone at the reception and it would have been even better.
Voici les bons de l'établissement Apparteo, celui-ci est vraiment très bien situé proche des bassins à flots, la chambre qui m'a été attribué avait une excellente vue avec un couché de soleil vraiment magnifique et apaisant, il y a une station de bus juste devant l'hôtel et la station de tram cité du vin n'est pas loin, celle-ci est à seulement 5 Stations du centre de Bordeaux , pas très loin il y a aussi les hangars, belle promenade de jour comme de nuit, honnêtement Apparteo est très bien positionné, tout été assez propre malgré de légers défauts, Apparteo est aussi une résidence étudiante.
Maintenant pour la mauvaise parti, heureusement qu'une personne qui séjournent dans l'établissement m'a aider sinon je n'aurai pas eu l'accès à celui-ci ni eu la possibilité de récupérer ma réservation de chambre, surtout qu'il y a besoin d'un code pour ouvrir la boîte où se trouve enveloppe pour la carte de chambre, le problème ici c'est qu'il y a aussi les réservations d'autres personnes accessible, je pense qu'il faudrait sécurisé un peu plus l'accès à ses informations, du coup ni a mon arrivée ni a mon départ je n'ai pu croisé de réceptionniste, il y avait aussi une odeur assez désagréable dans la salle de bain / toilette, ouvrir les fenêtres et mettre un peu de parfum à pu atténuer l'odeur mais celle-ci revenez si je fermé la porte de la salle de bain, la table à manger été assez instable mais en dehors de cela , le séjour été vraiment agréable, belle endroit, assez calme, fan des bassins à flot, la vue incroyable, bref excellent de se côté là
Au final je recommande totalement Apparteo malgré les petits défauts qui peuvent être résolu assez rapidement avec de la volonté, vraiment dommage que je n'ai pu croisé personne a la réception.
