"Stayed here for a night before my transit to France. The hotel is convenient near the main train station. Although there was smell of **** outside the building, the room was clean and big. One thing to note is that there is no air conditioning. There is a small fan and you have to open the windows. This may be a problem for those staying in summer or are sensitive to noise. Overall it was a comfortable stay for us and we slept well"

Reservations for the hotel's evening bar are required in advance, otherwise there will be a long wait. The breakfast was plentiful, with delicious fruit, salmon, ham, and a variety of cheese options."

"The hotel is right across from Lyon Perrache station, which was very convenient. Walking to the city centre needs passing an area with homeless tents, so it felt a bit sketchy. But the hotel itself was lovely, beautiful building, good breakfast, friendly English-speaking staff, and free luggage storage."

"Room at the end of the corridor, I think you know what that means.
So, as a result, heavy plaster on a dark-painted wall. The beginnings of a wasp nest at the window, spider webs, multiple impacts, and noises in the night near the room, I had the impression I had a staff room. I went back to reception to change lines, since the gentleman behind me was put in front of me, perhaps they thought I was there to ask for work. At the second line, the gentleman at reception realized this, ... prejudiced (?), and immediately took care of me, trying to make up for the obvious situation I had just experienced and to erase his stress with a steady smile and a very pleasant conversation. Afterwards, this first person tried to make up for her mistake by considering me. Regarding breakfast, I would say that certain guests should learn to respect the establishment, which, by the way, is not a summer residence. While I ate very well, some customers, with their outfits and noise levels, sent me to a Campanille. I'm like, ”I get up and shamelessly continue my conversation with those who stayed at their tables.”
I wanted to open the terrace and escape before diving into the world of work. I only slept, so I can't comment on the relaxation options on site. The hotel is well located, but there are three parking lots: the first one that requires refreshment, the second one where you can find vans, and the third one underground, which costs money. It's a strange concept, especially since the latter seems very well maintained, unlike those you can see from the busy street. A big thumbs up for the cleanliness of the sheets and towels. I prefer to end on a positive note, especially since while some things are blatantly lacking in interest, some people must go to great lengths to maintain such an establishment, so good luck to all."

"The service attitude is good, and the location is good, but the facilities in the hotel room are too old. The TV automatically turns off after turning it on. I called the service staff, and after watching it for two minutes and leaving, it automatically turns off again. The cabinet under the TV, the door on the left falls down when the door is opened. The room is not soundproof, and the sound of the neighbor opening the luggage can be heard clearly. The bathtub in the bathroom is very old, with some black scratches, and it looks dirty from a distance. There is no socket in the bathroom for hair drying, and there are no USB charging ports on both sides of the bedside table in the room. This is not the first time I come to this hotel. I used to have a good impression of the service and the room. This time, it is obvious that the hotel really needs to be renovated. I will not stay here next time."

"My overall conclusion is that this was a nice hotel which was worth the money paid, but that doesn't mean I liked absolutely everything there. The important stuff - it was spacious, it was quiet, it was very clean. The not so important, but could bring you some nail bites - the reception works until 9pm - and after that you're on your own. If you have a late check-in... there was no communication from the hotel side prior to that, so it was a surprise. Luckily the phone seen somewhere on the wall lead me to calling someone (after midnight actually) who told me on the phone a code for the safe holding the envelope with my key. But if the hotel door was locked (and it usually is)... I don't know what I would do. But apart from that, everything else was a pleasure. Thanks!"

GGuest UserThere is nothing in the room. You need to bring your own slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste, and towels. The location is a bit strange. I left early the next morning and wanted to ask the hotel if they could pack bread. The attitude of the guy at the front desk was rather perfunctory. It was not my business and I had no idea. The advance payment was forcibly deducted and has not been returned yet. I am so scared!

GGuest UserOverall, I was extremely satisfied with the hotel. In particular, I think its location is probably the best you can get in Lyon for a short stay. I also believe it was a very good choice in terms of price-performance. Of course, you can pay much higher rates to stay at more luxurious hotels, but this one more than meets all the essential needs. The welcome was always warm and friendly. The hotel entrance was very beautiful. The room and bathroom were spotless, and the bed was also excellent and perfectly clean.
I also truly appreciated the hotel’s commitment to reducing plastic use and protecting the environment. It meant a lot to me and made me really happy to see this.
I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

GGuest UserI rarely leave negative reviews, but this booking was very disappointing and quite uncomfortable. Although the location was good and the room was clean, we did not look forward to returning to the hotel each night and I would not consider staying here again. The room felt dark and claustrophobic and did not even have drawers big enough to put clothes in. For those wanting to work at the little desk, the chair and limited electricity outlets would have made it very difficult. Although we chose not to have the breakfast, the patio seemed nice. The lobby barely had space to stand in. Although I have learned that the French star system is quite basic, note that in many parts of the world, this would never be considered a four star hotel.

11867358****What I like most about the hotel is that the towels are soft and the toiletries are also good! And the view at 6 o'clock in the morning! Because I don't know how to use the blackout curtains, I need to adjust them, and the curtains can't block out the light. I think the carpet is a bit old. Although there is no odor in the room, the corridor, door and carpet are all old styles. I didn't live very comfortably. Although the quilt and bed are very comfortable, I always feel a little gloomy. The waiter is very good! The minibar is free to use, and there is a 14-hour room service. It is not suitable for long-term stay.
