"Good campsite with good service. It's located a bit out of the city, but public transport is easily accessible. The pathways to the accommodations within the campsite could be improved. Unlike other HUs we've stayed at in Italy (Rome and Venice), the breakfast buffet here was extremely disappointing and certainly not worth the price per person. There was little variety and it was quite disorganized. Overall, there are definitely a few aspects that could be improved."

"The hotel is ok, clean. Breakfast is quite good with coffee and bread. The only problem is that the location is quite far from the city center, while the bus number 2 often does not appear as shown in the app. We had to walk to the train station about 1km away and the road to get there is full of trucks going at terrible speed. Really challenging!"

"It is in the suburbs of Florence, feels relatively safe, and is quite close to the old town.
Quite pleasantly surprised, with a retro manor style, comfortable environment, and swimming. It's just that the room equipment is a bit old, the cabinets and other things are relatively antique, and the sound insulation is relatively poor. It depends on whether the style is acceptable to the individual. I personally think it has a unique charm. The mattress is also very comfortable.
The breakfast is delicious, and the wine for dinner is also good."

"The room was great and even had a balcony. The picture below was taken from the hotel balcony in the evening. The hotel itself was quite clean and tidy, but there were two downsides:
1. The electric kettle in the room was leaking.
2. When we went to check-in at 2 PM, the front desk told us there were no rooms available. They tried to persuade me to pay 30 euros for an upgraded room so we could check-in immediately, otherwise, we'd have to wait until 3 PM. I said I'd wait until 3 PM. When 3 PM came around, they still claimed there were no rooms. I then said, ”Fine, I'll cancel and find another place to stay; I want a refund.” Immediately, the front desk said, ”Oh, we have plenty of rooms available, we have 85 rooms, we can arrange one for you right away.” Honestly, how disgusting is that?"

"I rarely write reviews, but I simply *had* to this time! After checking out, I discovered my car wouldn't start – I'd foolishly left something on and completely drained the battery. Within just 5 minutes, the amazing ladies at the front desk found the incredibly resourceful Alessio for me. He first brought a battery charger, but when he realized it couldn't reach, he immediately drove another car over to use its battery to jump-start mine. The entire process was completed within 10 minutes, and it was absolutely free! So, a huge shout-out to [Hotel Name] for such outstanding service, big thanks to the front desk team (both the ladies and gentlemen), and a special, massive thank you to Alessio!"

"This is a 4-star hotel. The location is absolutely perfect.
1. It's directly across from the Firenze S.M. train station, literally just a crosswalk away, which is incredibly convenient.
2. You can walk to the Duomo in just 12 minutes, and the route is lined with shops where you can buy and eat things.
Be aware that because it's near the train station square, there are quite a few homeless people around.
Service: The staff member who checked us in was very friendly and personable.
Facilities: The bathroom was very clean, and all the amenities were complete and worked well.
Great value for money: We were very pleasantly surprised to find that our room had a balcony with a view (as pictured). The balcony was also quite large, with a coffee table and two rattan chairs.
This hotel made our stay in Florence even more comfortable and enjoyable.

The hotel room is small size double, we had a room with a pool view and a balcony, very clean, bed linen are change evry day, pool is small, but we were lucky to find sunlounges when we need it, but most of the time the pool area was full.
Breakfast îs very very good, plenty choices, quality food, fresh juices, even ice cream... 🙂
The only thing we prefered was a shower instead of bath and perhaps the bath panel bath longer lenght as the bath become a pool, the panel does not hold the water spray
We love our stay with this place, and book again

Nice room, but hidden fees and disappointing location
The room itself was beautiful — clean, stylishly decorated, and comfortable for a solo traveller, even if it was a little smaller than expected. So credit where it’s due: the physical space was lovely.
Unfortunately, a few things really affected my stay. I was asked for a €50 per night deposit upon check-in, which came as a complete surprise. This was not mentioned anywhere when I booked, and it hit hard as a solo traveller on a tight budget. I lost €100 before I even saw the city, and it honestly dampened the whole experience.
The staff at check-in were cold and not welcoming at all, which made the arrival feel awkward. Thankfully, check-out was much better — the person on the desk was kind and friendly, which helped leave things on a slightly better note.
As for location: it’s not ideal. The hotel is tucked behind the main train station down some pretty dirty, sketchy-feeling streets. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the Duomo, and for the price I paid, I expected to be much closer to the centre.
Overall, the hotel itself is fine — but in the wrong location and definitely the wrong price bracket. Unless the prices come down and they’re more transparent about deposits, I wouldn’t stay here again.

PPunnaiah ChowdaryApartment is near to Tram station which is just 3 stops to the Central station. It is quiet place. Staff is friendly. Since it is not hotel, they don’t clean it regularly. If we need anything like toilet paper or body wash etc, need to get from reception. It is given in room details that they provide stove but stove is not there. When we ask, they say we need to pay extra money.

MMarcos 305Villa Tortorelli is a charming mix between a bed-and-breakfast and a hotel. My experience here was mostly positive, and while there were a few minor issues, I could tell that the staff genuinely does their best to run the villa as smoothly as possible.
Check-in & First Impressions
The first thing to note is that the villa is designed to work with automated check-in processes, which is great for most travelers. However, it could be better explained to future guests to avoid any confusion. Not everyone will have a working phone or data plan when they arrive in Italy, and it’s important for the villa to have a backup plan in case guests are unable to connect.
One simple suggestion would be to provide Wi-Fi access at the entrance of the villa and share the network name and password with guests before their arrival. This would make it easier for everyone to access the automated system without any issues.
Room & Comfort
I stayed in the Deluxe Suite, located on the first floor of a three-story villa, right next to the breakfast room. At first, I was concerned about noise, but the thick, heavy door completely blocked any sounds from the breakfast area. I never heard a thing in the morning.
The room has blackout curtains that provide great privacy and darkness, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was newly renovated with luxury finishes, including stone walls that give it a high-end feel. The room was clean, and the daily housekeeping service kept everything spotless, with fresh towels replaced daily.
One of the standout features of Villa Tortorelli is Karen, the person in charge of breakfast service and housekeeping. She is incredibly attentive and hardworking. She ensures that guests are well taken care of, and the breakfast is always well-prepared and served hot. Honestly, if they lose Karen, the villa would lose two stars in reviews. She is one of their greatest assets.
Breakfast Experience
The breakfast service was excellent. The food is prepared fresh every morning, and Karen makes sure there is always a variety of hot and cold options available. The breakfast room is cozy and inviting, with plenty of choices to start your day off right.
The Villa’s Atmosphere & Location
The villa is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, making it a relaxing place to stay. It’s also within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions in Florence, which makes it very convenient for exploring the city.
One Minor Issue
The only negative point during my stay was that the room felt quite cold when I first arrived. However, I reached out to the WhatsApp help service, and the heating system was adjusted quickly. Within a short time, the room felt much warmer and more comfortable.

The bedding and bath products are very comfortable, and the most important thing is that they are new! Everything is very new, so it is very comfortable to live in. Although it is a renovated 200-year-old house, it is very bright and the windows are equipped with two layers of double-layer soundproof glass. It is quiet... isolated from the world. The breakfast selection is quite rich, but it costs 35 euros to buy it separately, which is a bit cost-effective.

my room was simple, but tidy. Main inconvenience was the bathroom, although clean, it has two downsides: 1) the shower is quite small and when you get inside the curtain is always sticking to you. 2) the toilet flash was broken, never worked on the first try - I had to press many-many times to flush it.
It didn't ruin the experience, but it's a bit annoying for sure

GGuest UserIt's in a great location, 7 minutes from the station and 10 minutes from the Ufutzii Museum, but it was hard to find because there was no hotel sign! I was standing 10 meters away, but I couldn't find it even after walking back and forth, so I asked a nearby hotel staff member, who pointed to a small door and said, ”It's right there.” I pressed the intercom, had it opened, went up to the third floor, and finally checked in. The room was cute, and when I told them I was leaving early in the morning, they were flexible and said, ”I can make breakfast at the breakfast shop and have it delivered the day before.” There was a shower, a refrigerator, and bottled water for the bed. If you leave the room and go up one level, there is a shared terrace with a view of the roofs of the ancient city. If the check-in goes smoothly, it's a great place to stay.

AAlexandraSHotel overall is okay for a 3 star. Employees were always friendly. Free parking and if full, hotel as a old garage underneath which it was where we parked. Breakfast was okay also for a 3 star hotel.
Amenities nothing to be honest, on our room we had some stuff broken also… could get some refurbishment. And also, it is not a queen bed, it was two single beds close to each other… with no top mattress anything…
