This is the hotel that surprised me the most.
It not only has delicious breakfast, comfortable beds, beautiful living room, and spacious parking lot, but also looks like a small museum that collects many Southeast Asian artworks. It also looks like a scenic spot where you can enjoy the sunset on the top of the mountain. It is more like a The home of a friendly old friend.
The owner, Mr. TJ, is knowledgeable, gentle, courteous, warm and thoughtful, making people feel at home. With the help of translation software, we had a great time communicating.
Afterwards, we made a special trip to the Huntington Library, which he specially recommended. There are charming gardens such as the Chinese Garden, Japanese Garden, Australian Garden, Desert Garden, Rose Garden, etc., as well as European artworks and giant oil paintings on display. The most precious thing is that the library has collected a large number of precious manuscripts from different historical periods, which is a feast for the eyes and an eye-opener.
He also recommended us a high-quality Thai restaurant at the foot of the mountain. We had grilled fish and mango sticky rice that were as delicious as we remembered, and had a wonderful night.
