We chose the König because of its excellent location, by the river Danube and in the old town. Absolutely thrilled with our choice, a traditional, characterful and warm hotel. Our room overlooked the river and felt homely and inviting. The bed was very comfortable and all amenities provided. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Breakfast caters for a good range of tastes and food is fresh and well presented. The reception staff were very helpful in obtaining taxis and assisting in the case of a lost passport. Passau itself is a beautiful little town, full of atmosphere and a joy to visit.

This little hotel was marvelous. We had one night to stay before a Danube cruise. The location was terrific for exploring the town and for getting on our ship the best day. Perhaps best of all, we told the front desk we were vegan upon check-in and they presented us a lovely basket of vegan breakfast spreads at our table the next morning. A+++ Five stars. 😀

This hotel is perfectly situated, overlooking the Danube and the old town at the rear, which you can easily reach by taking the hotel lift, that save a lot of hill climbing. The rooms quite large, with aircon. Beds are a bit hard. bathroom is clean and has a good large shower. Breakfast is good, with enough choice. There is an underground garage for my motorbike, without extra charge.

Passau is a fantastic medieveal town to visit. The hotel is convenientally located in this wonderful city. One finds itself very close to both modern and ancient. One direction leads to the modern part of the city. In the other direction you find yourself in old town. The room we stayed was large and clean, with a great view right of the Danube. The entire facility was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was tasty and varied. I would reccommend Koenig for a comfortable stay in Passau.

Eine Top Adresse in Passau. Sehr nettes Personal und ein Top Ambiente. Zimmer Tip top sauber, Frühstück hervorragend und die Krönung ist die Sauna, die sehr sauber, ruhig und angenehm ist. Unkompliziertes entspannen nach einem langen Tag. Ich kann dieses Hotel nur empfehlen.

Schönes, gut gelegenes Hotel mit einem sehr leckeren Frühstück. Wir haben auf sehr bequemen Matratzen in schönen Zimmern geschlafen. Mit dem Vorder- und Hinterausgang Wegeoptimierter Start für die Erkundung der Altstadt möglich:-) Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch in Passau und im Hotel König:-)

Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Unser Zimmer war geräumig, frisch renoviert, sehr sauber und hervorheben möchten wir, das perfekt saubere Bad, es gab nicht einen Kalkfleck. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte, der Blick auf die Donau ist schön und durch die sehr gut isolierten Fenster gibt es keine Ruhestörung. Das Hotel hat aufgrund des Hochwassers viel investiert. Das Frühstück war guter Standard. Es gibt eine Garage, die man dazu buchen kann. Wir können das Hotel sehr empfehlen. Vielen Dank.
