Earl's Red Passikudah

From the moment my family and I arrived at Earl's Red, the staff welcomed us warmly and served us complimentary drinks. I was thoroughly impressed by the efficient check-in and check-out process. The hotel is ideally located, close to all major attractions. Breakfast was a feast, offering a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. I can't wait to stay here again! Thank you once again, Mr. Sarath and the team.

We stayed in a family room with four friends and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The room was spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable – perfect for a group stay. The staff were outstanding, always attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. A special mention to the manager, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of – truly an excellent person. Everything about our stay was top-notch. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a memorable experience!

Its a three story building near to the public area of bathing place at Pasikuda. The rooms were good but towels n toilet tissue rolls were not supplied n we had an unpleasrnt experience together with baggage collection boys coming late then we had to wait a little longer time near the reception. Breakfast buffet was ok. The rooms are clean. We had two dips in the sea which is shallow for some distance. Police life guard section is available n they marked the safe areas. Manager is a pleasent guy trying to help.

The hotel is under new management and being renovated. Sarath looked after us very well! He arranged a tuk tuk trip for us and helped us even though we didn’t stay here. We found the restaurant Red Snapper online and ended up going back 3 times as the food was amazing especially the crab curry. Be warned there is enough to share and the portions are big :) The pub next door is great for cheap drinks too… Looking forward to seeing the refurb although it’s perfectly quant currently and the staff are all lovely.

1: Unfortunately I am writing quite a negative review about this place. Firstly we booked a room in advance, and expected wifi and aircon, as specified. When arriving at the hotel we were greeted extremely poorly. We were then put in a room on the only floor without wifi, after highlighting this we were eventually given a router. However, this wifi was so poor we could barely send one message. Making it extremely difficult for us to sort out travel arrangements for the following morning. The staff did in the end, help us find a tuktuk. When we got back to the hotel, we discovered the bar, which never opens (despite the listing) and the cloudy pool, in which we couldn’t even see past our knees. We went to have a shower, and found both of the towels where blatantly dirty (see attached photos). After asking for two new towels the staff did retrieve two clean ones. Clean towels should be the bare minimum in any hotel. The beds were big but the most uncomfortable beds we have ever slept on. The toilet was leaking onto the bathroom floor and they started cleaning very loudly directly above our room at 10:30pm, whilst we where trying to get to sleep. On the right hand side of the bed the light didn’t turn on. The only advantage is it’s one of the cheapest places to stay in this area however we would recommend spending a little more to stay somewhere nicer.

Big mistake room booking beautiful Pasikuda! This run down hotel made my Holiday unhappy 🤔 Room smaller, bathroom very old and dirty + unclear 👁️ The curtain never wash pilthy, (dirty ) don't book this hotel 🙏🏼 many nice hotel around on the beach😄 Food quality unpresentable & electric socket doesn't work, pool looks terrible and unpersent Staff 🤔 Im so disappointed 😄
