Well-kept hotel with trained, courteous and helpful staff. I needed a good place to rest during the walk on the Via Lauretana and a short distance from the Passignano train station and in a quiet area from which to reach the city center and the beautiful lakeside walk with a short walk. The room of decent size was tidy and very clean, furnished simply but completely. The towel supply is good. The silence is good and rest is guaranteed by an equally good mattress. Excellent value for money. Dinner in the restaurant on the ground floor was also good. WiFi present and acceptable. Parking for cars present. Recommended hotel.

We stayed two nights in this wonderful hotel. A simple but well-kept, very clean place, a stone's throw from the town center. The owners are very kind. Both the breakfast and the restaurant were excellent, available regardless of whether you are staying in the hotel, a very extensive and particular menu with lake specialities. We thank you again for the wonderful relaxing weekend!

Hotel a stone's throw from Lake Trasimeno, clean and simple. Nice and kind owners; we also tried the restaurant, only the first courses, but plentiful and good. A good base for visiting Perugia and its surroundings. I absolutely recommend it to those who don't have too many expectations.

Myself, my husband, my almost 2 year old son and a little baby in my belly spent four pleasant and relaxing days in this hotel. The room was very clean, the staff super friendly. The very kind lady Silvia made us feel at home from the first minute we arrived. Mrs. Cinzia made our breakfasts lively in the morning with her funny jokes! At the restaurant there is a vast menu, with many types of local and non-local dishes. If you don't find something you like on the menu, they will know how to accommodate your requests. Abundant and delicious dishes. Nice staff there too. In short, what can I say... a pleasant holiday and a hotel that I recommend to those who need to relax and feel welcomed! You know, at the end of the holiday you always have a bit of a bitter taste in your mouth but I will always have wonderful memories of the Hotel La Vela and its staff! We stopped one night. Nice discovery: recently renovated, well maintained and clean, friendly staff; we also had a good dinner at the hotel restaurant, only the breakfast could be improved. Excellent value for money.
