We highly recommend Sanu's house for staying in Patan. The Host feels like a sunshine, she helped us a lot to made good itinaries around the city, she cooked us good nepali meals and told us amazing stories about Nepal The house is next to the Kathmandu's ring so it is really easy to find buses and get wherever you want.

Nach meiner Rückkehr vom Everest Base Camp Trek war ich 6 Nächte zu Gast im Homestay in Sanu‘s House. Ursprünglich wollte ich nur 2 Nächte bleiben, doch es hat sich herausgestellt, dass es die perfekte Unterkunft ist, um Kathmandu und das Kathmandu Valley kennenzulernen. Die Räume sind sehr sauber, im Hause werden nur Hausschuhe getragen. Die Betten waren sehr gemütlich, nach meiner langen Trekking Tour konnte ich ausgezeichnet schlafen - auch ohne Ohrstöpsel, die Lage nach hinten ist in der Nacht ziemlich ruhig. Die Familie ist sehr gastfreundlich. Morgens habe ich immer ein leckeres Frühstück erhalten. Bei der Organisation von Ausflügen in der Umgebung war die Gastgeberin Sarita sehr hilfreich. Sie hat mir erklärt, welche lokalen Busse ich nutzen kann. So war es sehr leicht und kostengünstig zum Monkey Temple, nach Thamel, zum Pashupatinath Temple oder zum Busbahnhof Richtung Everest Region zu kommen. Nur 25-30 Rs für lokale Busse. Damit ist die Unterkunft sehr gut angebunden. Das historische Zentrum von Patan kann man fußläufig erkunden. Für mich eine sehr gute Zeit als Gast in Sanu‘s House! Ich komme wieder! Viele lieben Dank für die Gastfreundschaft :)

Emplacement bien situé, propre et familial, proche de l’aéroport et de plusieurs monuments comme Patan Square et sur la Ring Road donnant accès à toute la ville assez rapidement par bus ou en utilisant un chauffeur de moto à l’aide de l’app inDrive. Je recommande fortement cet endroit où Sarita la propriétaire vous fera sentir comme chez vous 🙌

Siamo stati da Sarita più volte nel nostro viaggio in Nepal e ogni volta era come sentirsi in famiglia. Sarita, la padrona di casa, è fantastica insieme ai suoi genitori che abitano anche loro nella guesthouse. Ogni giorno ci accoglieva con il sorriso e le sue colazioni erano buonissime, con pane fatto in casa ogni mattina. Sarita ci ha portati a fare varie passeggiate tra le risaie, nel centro di Patan che si trova a 10 minuti dalla guesthouse. Le stanze sono pulite, grandi, il bagno sempre con l'acqua calda e pulito. Sicuramente sarà una tappa fissa nei nostri futuri viaggi in Nepal. Grazie Sarita!!
