"RuenKijja, located 18 kms. from Downtown Pathum Thai or 24 kms. from Bangkok - Don Mueang International Airport on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River, was a lovely and cozy homestay built in traditional Thai style stilt houses over the water affected by low and high tides. There were 4 accommodation rooms in 2 stilt houses connected together by a shared walkway. Its guests could enjoy daily sunrises over the river and a Buddhist temple in front. The scenes of transporting barges, small commercial and fishing boats passing by were happily often seen. In addition, small fishing boats, searching for river prawns which were abundant in this area, always came by nightly. All of its accommodation rooms decorated in traditional Thai style with full amenities were very clean and tidy. 3 of the rooms had serene views of the river while the remaining one had a garden view. Its room rates were inclusive with daily breakfast which guests were advised to select and preorder from its 4 provided sets. Ms. Hla Hla Win, its only attendant, handled all house and kitchen works perfectly well. She was very polite, helpful and friendly. All in all, this unique homestay was highly recommended for guests expecting to have a truly Thai experience while visiting Ayuthaya or this area."
