Our vacation there was great & really relaxing!! A beautiful room (only negative point that the bed was not so comfortable for the money you pay and the cleanliness was adequate, not perfect). However it was comfortable, they gave us a free upgrade in front of a private shared pool which greatly enhanced the stay experience, good sea, nice food, plenty of choices both in the buffet and a la carte restaurants (worth going to them), every day in the morning water aerobics and different sports while in the evening there was music and entertainers if you have small children, snacks during the day, spa inside, gym, you really park the car and you don't need to get out of there !! We would happily go again 🩷

We visited aldemar from the 16th to the 20th of October . A nice little break in the sun I wouldn't say this hotel was a 5 star hotel . It's situated on a beautiful beach ,we was a disappointed with a few issues . First the beach bar asked for 3 different drinks just be told end of season we don't have or no ! Very Rude bar tender didn't return to that bar. A big complex however most restaurants, bars ,beauty salon extra closed. I feel this should have been highlighted before booking . Not alot to do. All inclusive food was OK but very repeatative. Not many English people there at all. We was looking forward to visiting a harbour rep advised to go but not on a Saturday, when we decided to visit via taxi we got told its closed ! We wouldn't visit again unfortunately.Maybe it would be a better experience in peak season .

We've just arrived back from a week here. I, like many others, wouldn't rate this a 5 star hotel. But that's not to say that we didn't enjoy ourselves. We were disappointed that a couple of restaurants and bars had closed for the winter. We were particularly looking forward to having a meal in La Pergola, but sadly, this was one of the closed restaurants. The main restaurant, Olympia, was ok, but the food was very repetitive. The Apollo bar was great for watching the sunset. We would definitely visit again, but earlier in the season.

Well let’s start off saying this is definitely not a five star resort. But has many positive things about it, but also many negatives. Food is great here but can be very repetitive at the buffets with the same food appearing every night and every lunch time. Drinks are brilliant and cannot be complained about. The beach is beautiful and well kept, and as the hotel is a HUGE complex as it’s a village you will never be without a sun bed due to how long it is. The staff at the reception very friendly, and helped us numerous times with supplying us with mattress toppers as the mattresses are very uncomfortable and also supplying a mosquito plug for the room and a wheelchair. A very clean hotel with cleaners working hard as to the gardeners. Moving onto the negatives, as we went end of September going into the first week of October, everything was closing (as we expected) but we didnt expect them to close so much. One restaurant was open which was the olympia so everyone was crammed into one restaurant for evenings. Two al a cartes were open which we expected, but they were rushed, we had our starters pulled from beneath us to make way for our main course even though we was still eating which is totally unacceptable! Marina was the best al a carte with top class food. Bar at our swim up closed meaning we had no bar which was accessible nearby to would have to walk quite a distance for a drink despite paying extra for these facilities. Nobody told us they would be closing and not advertised to be closed either before booking unlike the restaurants was. To get clean towels you also then had to walk to the other end of the resort (baring in mind the resort is huge and we had a disabled person with us). Swim up pools are for people who have paid for them only and on ours room 1022 there was no signage in place therefore kids was jumping in and screaming who was not even in the swimup rooms, but has the bar and lifeguard was no longer on duty as they had closed up there was nobody to tell them. Whats the point in paying extra? Rooms very outdated, but very spacious, need to be ripped out and redone. Toilet flusher handle was hanging off, tiling in shower all cracked. Slowness of waiting on staff also an issue, but this is due to everyone being crammed into one restaurant so there is more people to serve. Bar staff stand around talking whilst we wait to be server drinks. Hotel has huge potential but just because the season is coming to an end you should still be giving at least 90% not 50% in efforts towards your guests. I do also think they prefer certain nationalities over others (thats how it comes across anyway). I will end of a high and say i did have a relaxing time here due to the fact the hotel was half empty and its in a beautiful location.

Not a 5* it's 3* at best. There's a lot of tired, outdated rooms not on the website which you may be allocated. Cleaning is not the best. Staff are mostly friendly and helpful. Good choice of drinks. Not much choice of Greek food. A la Cartes are rushed. We asked for a packed lunch on departure day and told 'no' or we could pay €15. Another couple departing with us ordered a lunch and given it, no questions asked or charged for! Damaged table reported to reception, but not repaired. We will not return to this hotel and would suggest the management visit Egypt to see how all inclusive is provided properly including ALL the rooms being a high standard and ALL guests being treated equally.

This is really a quite big village. Starting from the reception: ladies working there are very efficient solving problems ,if any, with smile. There are a lot of swiming pools, clean and properly equipped ,so, no problem to find place and get the sun or stay in a shade. Rooms are cleaned each day, there are kettles and hair dryers. They are OK. The beach is huge and water encourages to swim. It has a blue flag, and sufficient number of sunbeds (anyhow in September). Special "chapeau bas" for the staff of restaurants and kitchens for very good service and tasty, plentiful, fresh food, especially for different kinds of baked meat. There is also a live music each evening closed to the bar (on good level), so, listening to music you can also enjoy some drinks. We were here 4 times and plan to go 5th in 2025. It is a good recomendation.

Overall, it’s fine—nice beach, nice pools, and some good drinks. The problem is that the resort is not well-balanced. You can get a room in an old, dirty section or in a new part with a pool right below your balcony, all for the same price. We were here for the second time. The first year, we got a nice room, but the second time, they gave us a room that was incomparable. We protested immediately and were successful in getting a better one. But if we hadn’t known there were better options, we would have stayed in the poorly situated, dirty room. That would have been a totally different experience. So, watch out for this! Another thing I’d like to mention is to thank the doctor who is stationed at the resort. He’s doing a great job, and he should receive more support from the resort.

Abeliona restaurant was absolutely stunning, service was faultless and so nice to try traditional Greek food - highly recommend. We had a good mixture of starters and mains, the kebab was particularly delicious, as was the pomegranate salad
