I recently stayed at XQ Pattaya Hotel and overall had a pretty good experience! I was on the hunt for a budget-friendly hotel with a decent desk, and the photos looked promising. I'm happy to report that the desk was indeed great for getting some work done.
The hotel's location is a huge plus! It’s surrounded by plenty of restaurants and is super close to T21, which made exploring the area really convenient. However, it was a bit noisy during my stay due to the Songkran festivities. The music was blasting all day long, but honestly, it didn’t bother me too much.
One of the highlights was the rooftop pool! It was lovely and surprisingly quiet when I went up to relax, which was a nice escape from the hustle and bustle below.
If you’re looking for a peaceful spot to unwind, this might not be the best choice, especially during lively events like Songkran. But if you’re after great value for your money, I’d definitely recommend it. The hotel was clean, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Overall, a solid stay!

Hotel XQ Pattaya is a very nice and beautiful hotel. The staff is super nice. The hotel is located on Soi 1, close to the beach and many shops and restaurants. Although it is close to many amenities, it is not noisy. The rooftop pool is also very good and gives a nice view of the city. The only bad thing was the breakfast. There was little choice if you don't want a hot breakfast. Furthermore, absolutely recommended!

Everything was except a few things
1. The breakfast is so sweet, no matter what you eat, not only desserts, but even eggs, bread, butter, and other food.
The coffee that I ordered a few times and mentioned that I want very little bit sugar was so sweet (tastes like 5 teaspoons of sugar).
2. I received the room with dirty sheets, I didn't ask for immediate replacement but slept that night on the dirty.
When I left the paper that tells the housekeeper to change bed sheets, they just put the paper back on the table and kept that dirty sheets on the bed.
The next day I did the same with 100 baht bill as a tip, and then they changed it ;)
Overall it was good value for the price. I will probably return.
