Porton del Cielo

We headed towards HOTEL PORTON DEL CIELO PATZCUARO, which is located in the next Magical Town called Pátzcuaro, from 2:54 to 3:19 (17.8 km), it took 25 minutes to get to this hotel, which is the reason we plan to return. After a dirt road we arrived at a gate that opened its doors to store the vehicle, from this moment a visual adventure begins that seems addictive, I did not want to stop looking at those beautiful landscapes, in the distance you can see the island of Janitzio from the hotel. Ana received us in the parking lot and accompanied us to the reception, another beautiful space, decorated with local crafts, hats, vases, figures with the Virgin of Guadalupe, among other religious pieces, votive candles, crosses, hearts, a table completely full of oil lamps. They assigned us the Gaviota room and we went to the restaurant, there was not a space without decoration that looked perfect, believe me I do not exaggerate many times on the contrary, I think that when I write I lack in many occasions the appropriate words to transmit so many wonders that we have the opportunity to admire, on the way to the restaurant while you go down some stairs you can appreciate an unforgettable landscape, it looks perfect through the windows that are impeccable to let us delight in the beauty of nature. We sat down and at a nearby table was Damián Alcázar, an extraordinary Mexican actor with whom we had the chance to share since they also pleasantly stayed at this hotel, the restaurant called by the same name El Portón del Cielo, like each space of this place had tasteful decoration, the colors, the paintings, the wine cellar, the kerosene lamps, the crafts, the flowers, the oil lamps among many other items that tell us about their culture, history and customs, in this place Alonso attended us. Tranquility and harmony are breathed in this place, the air is fresh and the senses are lit, after eating, talking and of course asking for an autograph from Damián, we went to the room, it is quite spacious, king size bed, a carpet on which the bed rests, hammock, terrace and very comfortable, we had reserved an hour of jacuzzi, prior to the spa, so we went to the appointment. Estuvimos 4 días en la habitación Jilguero, y sin duda la atención fue espectacular!!! Estas vacaciones fueron planeadas para mi perrita Pomerania y sin duda las disfruto al máximo! La vista que tiene la habitación sin duda es mágica!!!! Todo el personal siempre atento y cuidadosos a cada detalle. El restaurante es una experiencia grandiosa, literal probamos casi toda la carta y todo estuvo delicioso. Nos vamos muy felices y sin duda estamos seguros de que regresaremos de nuevo!!!

Hace ya tiempo que me recomendaron este lugar y ayer después de todo, decidí vivir la experiencia. Un día antes de llegar a Pátzcuaro me lastime mi rodilla, por lo que me costaba muchísimo trabajo caminar y me sentía triste el no poder vivir la experiencia deseada en este hotel. Al llegar, nos recibió una señorita de nombre Mónica, la cual amablemente nos apoyó con el proceso de check in. Lo impresionante es que Mónica vio el problema que yo tenía al caminar y trajo el registro hasta el estacionamiento para no hacerme caminar (sin yo pedirlo) este detalle me hizo sentir tan consentida. Como no podía caminar, decidimos pedir room service, la comida deliciosa! Sin mencionar que el tiempo de entrega fue muy bueno. Al día siguiente ya sintiéndome mejor, decidimos caminar hacia el restaurante. Súper delicioso y nuevamente un servicio de calidad. De verdad quedamos enamorados de las instalaciones, la comida y sobre todo la vista. Pero destacó totalmente el servicio del personal. Los felicito y les agradezco lo comida que me hicieron sentir.
