Perfect location if you are being picked up for the hike up in the Himalayas. I had booked a king room with air con. Turns out air con only blows cold air and not hot air. Was a bit disappointed. But, it wasn’t that cold for an early Jan winter.

Best you can have in affordable prices and the staff was amazing like you’re meeting your friends. Specially the Ankit, Abhishake & Udit Bhai. You can tease Abhishake a little you get nice comebacks from him. You can the pictures with the review. They will help you with all the booking Bungy Jumping rafting and Scooty on rent too. Come on solo trip but made some really good friends. Food is amazing specially the bad ass burger must. See you next time guys.

The ambience of the property was dynamic the best part of the stay is witnessing the river Ganga through the balcony of the cafe my stay was really very comfortable the food was amazing the guys at the reception Udit & Ankit was mind-blowing personalities. Definitely stay again with the Shalom backpackers hostels.

My wife and me are in our late fifties and our daughters decided to send us to Rishikesh on my wife's birthday. They booked the flight tickets and took the premium room at Shalom Backpackers, Rishikesh paying a hefty price from 28/03/2025 to 31/03/2025. Our ordeal started once we reached the hotel and saw the room. The room was dirty, floors unclean, walls had dampness and at some places the plaster was coming out. There was a stench in the room that was nauseating. The bathrooms were unkempt, unclean with no water pressure and everything like the towels, blankets, bed sheets, glasses, coffee maker etc. seemed unhygienic and unusable. The tv in the room was not functional. The room was effectively on the 6th floor with a terrace and there is no lift facilities making it difficult for older people to go up and down. We did take up all these issues with the management but all that they did was sympathise. All in all it was just burning away your money for nothing.

Had a amazing stay here at shalom. The food is delicious. The view from the cafeteria balcony has an amazing view. they even keep our luggage for 1 day. The Host Ankit and prakhar were very helpful and friendly too. I would highly recommend to other travellers who is comito rishikesh.

It was an amazing experience here. The view from the property has amazing ganga view. The cafeteria balcony and terrace has a stunning ganga view. The receptionist guys were helpful and humble. Special thanks Ankit & Harsh for making our stay smooth. The overall stay was amazing. I would highly recommend to others who come to rishikesh.

The stay was fantastic.We really enjoyed here.View was great.It is highly recommended to everyone.Property is near Ganga and view from cafe is enchanting.All the staffs here are highly supportive and always ready to help.Here shalom cafe serves fantastic tea.We can’t comment on other food because we didn’t had any here.Harsh and Ankit at reception are great guy.So overall,we haf nice experience here

Amazing stay at shalom. The food at the cafeteria was fresh & reasonable. The view from the terrace has an amazing ganga view. The host Ankit was very helpful and friendly. The overall experience at shalom was great. I would highly recommend to others who is coming to rishikesh.
