From first ringing the doorbell to checking out four days later, our time at Castello di Pavone was excellent. The facility is gorgeous and remarkably well maintained; it has a rich history (take the free tour!). Staff are first rate--kind, courteous, professional, responsive. Our room was super comfortable--nice linens, good bed, big bathroom with bathtub. The breakfast spread is grand--meats, cheeses, fruit, yogurt, juices, and more. If you choose the Castello restaurant for dinner, you will not be disappointed! Again, facility, service, and food are all excellent! From the hotel, you can easily walk down to the small town of Pavone Canavese. TIP: Driving to the hotel is a little tricky! GPS took us to, basically, a walking path. The best way to find the driveway that leads to the parking area is to take VIA DIETRO CASTELLO to VIA MEANA, but turn up the hill (NOT onto VIA MEANA), passing a couple of apartment buildings on the right, then a short wooded area, then VOILA! the castle parking.

Very nice location... but being a 4 star, given the prices, you expect quality treatment. As a couple on New Year's Eve...clean room but mattresses not up to par, uncomfortable at best...old-fashioned TV...welcome gift...a bottle costing 4 euros...genuinely disappointing...evening dinner in the very cold room, the ladies with coats and anoraks... it's not the best.... in my opinion that place should give more.

The hotel cancelled the booking unilaterally and asked bluntly if we could please reschedule... This hotel would have been a stop on a multi-day tour. Finding a replacement quickly was difficult and ended up being much more expensive. The reason for cancellation was "problems with the hydraulics" - although I still don't understand what that means. To be honest, I assume they had regular guests who wanted to extend their stay and simply "cancelled" a booking alla Italiana with us. 2 years after Covid, it seems there is no longer any need to be customer-friendly....

I wanted to give something surprising to my wife for Christmas and at the beginning of December I had booked a room for the 27th. On Christmas Eve they informed me that due to a maintenance problem they had to cancel my room. I ask to move the reservation to January 4th and they tell me that they are waiting for confirmation of a group that would take over the entire hotel: along the lines of "we don't care about you at all". So on Christmas Eve I found myself having to think and look for another gift. Very bad experience.

Very beautiful location, shame about the staff and owners as well as organizers or at least that's how they sell themselves. The owners being unprofessional, surly and rude participated in making my wedding day a nightmare! Unfortunately, the owners preferred to play for savings and did not take care to maintain normal cleanliness of the rooms. If you love nature, in each room you can find different insects that will welcome you. The rule says: "the customer is always right", but for the owners of the castle only the vile money counts to be able to pay the expenses. SHAME! I strongly advise against Castello di Pavone for any type of event! Alberto also known as Mrs. Eva “Keyboard Lion”.

Dear French friends, dear Swiss friends; This place should absolutely be avoided. We booked a suite to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. A wedding at the castle made the decibels spit right under our windows. Impossible to sleep. I would like to point out that the hotel absolutely did not inform us of the presence of this marriage as is generally done in civilized places. We reported the fact that we could not sleep to the night watchman (the only person from the hotel still present) and we found ourselves in 2 tiny rooms outside the castle walls. One of them was unfortunately a scorpion nest. The children were terrified. We asked to see the hotel manager the next day to obtain compensation. The individual in question started by yelling at us before wanting to come to blows. Go your way. There are much more worthy places in Italy.

Location eccezionale.

Grazie a tutti!!!
