This is definitely not a 5-star experience—more like 3, at a push. Hotel isn’t very safe and the front desk staff are extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional, and even the manager woman came out shouting and screaming at us echoing in the mostly empty reception hall. (all captured on video). It also might be true that staff don’t like British people. I had read a few negative reviews before arriving but thought some people might be overreacting. I tend to overlook issues others complain about. However, this is one of the occasions where the negative reviews were accurate. Don’t expect to sleep past 6 a.m. due to the loud speakers sounding. Then Around 8 a.m., beer and wine barrels start getting dragged around by hotel staff , adding to the noise. The hotel is right next to the highway, so expect car horns and traffic noise throughout the night and early morning. Kids slushes are not free, despite stating all the hotel all inclusive. No point talking about the food as you can guest what’s it like. ( definitely not even close to 5 star) Multiple stains on bedding! When we asked the front desk please if we could move us to a quieter area of the hotel ( we said we were even willing to pay for a the move or upgrade), they claimed they were too busy to help while chatting to each other in Turkish midway in conversation and messaging on their personal mobiles. They also said the manager wasn’t in the building , despite her appearing immediately once we started recording how we were being treated. She was the worst! She immediately started barking at us before we said anything. We were astonished by her behaviour which is very aggressive and intimidating. Review updated ** I left this review while we were still staying in the hotel, and it went live during our stay. While we were sitting in reception trying to contact love holidays for help. The hotel reception sent the Love Holiday rep man over to us to let know that the staff are angry at us because I left the bad reviews and want us to leave their hotel because of the review. Afterwards we were approached by general manager with a couple of other men demanding we delete the review and leave the hotel now or else in threatening way. ( All of this happened within less 24 hrs staying at the hotel ) Afterward, we began looking at alternative hotels at our own expense, as the atmosphere created by the front desk manager and staff was very intimidating—they gave scalding looks, each time you walk through the reception and Love Holidays are not helpful or responsive at all when we tried contacting them. We decided to visit a nearby hotel, but the Uber app couldn’t locate any taxis due to the hotel’s remote location. So we had no choice but to approach the dreaded front desk since it was the only way to call a taxi.
