Cypress Point: Golf, Ocean Sunset View, 6 Bedrooms, 4 Bath

Fantastic views! The property has fantastic ocean & golf course views. This was a family get together that accommodated 6 adults & 6 children (6-14 age). Host provided some board games that keep kids occupied - thank you Jacci! In addition we had visitors every day of our stay - 5 large Bucks. House is dated & could use a paint job inside/outside. The house was very clean with excellent bedding. We enjoyed the Outside fire pit every evening and was a great way to unwind & enjoy a stunning sunset with a glass of wine.

Glorious setting This meeting was a celebration of the live of our patriarch who turned 90. The family met, ate, slept and explored the area together and apart. It was perfect for that purpose.

The view is majestic The view is what you are paying for, and it doesn't disappoint. Four of the bedrooms face the ocean, one has a good view of Cypress Point golf course and the last one faces the front garden (we used this one for the baby). The beds are all fresh, fluffy, and comfortable. The living room has a great view with large windows and there is plenty of seating in the dining room. The front door has been boarded up and the entrance is being worked on for some sort of remodeling, so you enter through the side door. There are many signs of wear and tear- most faucets, door handles, and the kitchen look like they may be as old as the house and did not work great. Jacci, the host, was super responsive and helpful for any problem we presented, which we limited to things that could be fixed or changed during the rental.

Family summer vacation in Carmel We had an amazing time. I chose this home because of the location, the view the number of bedrooms and large living spaces. The location was perfect as we could walk to a nice sandy beach across the street and let the kids play in the water. It was a short drive to point Lobos for a wonderful morning hike. We went to the Monterey Bay aquarium another morning and Dennis the Menace Park, which was amazing for the small kids

What a special place... It's hard to believe you are able to rent this property in such a truly unique setting. The layout of the home and views are perfect for a group gathering. The location is 10/10. House is old, but extremely clean and has everything you need. Would highly, highly recommend.

Present with the Ocean Got our moneys worth from the location alone. The property is surrounded by sand which allowed for fun activities with the kids. The beach was just down the street and we saw all sorts of wildlife. From the living room, we got a 10 minute show by some traveling whales just from out the shoreline. Both fireplaces were great and all was cozy.
