Just want to be completely honest !!! Went into the kings arms Pembroke with my partner We had to wait nearly 10 mins to get served x2 pints and bar wasn't busy We asked the bar tender if we could sit at an empty table in the window to drink our drinks his response was ide rather you not sit there even though there were plenty of other tables empty aswell in the bar He said you can sit upstairs in a room where there were no other patrons he made us feel very unwelcome and outcast Real shame he has such a poor attitude towards local patrons I would not recommend using the kings arms for a drink evening time for social Meeting ect Especially when the most unwelcoming barman is working there very sad somone can make you feel so unwelcome in a local pub

Everything was very average, apart from the staff; who were generally rude and disinterested. No please or thank you’s. Place was dated and huge portions don’t mean the food is any good. Like stepping back in time to the 80’s. Rooms were very dated and need some TLC. No free water available, despite the glasses. Just bang average.

Pembrokeshire Paddlers had their Xmas meal her last night. Initially we had our own sofa room upstairs, to meet up and chatter, before going to our well decked out Galleon Restaurant, which we had all to ourselves. The service and layout was amazing. The food was stunning. We had our own waitress all night, who made sure everything was on cue and that we were all good. Would definitely go back there again! 😋

During a projext i was involved in, in pemproke, we as a groupnof 8 working men, we greeted by Norman at reception late of an evening. Welcomed and shown our rooms, which although not so big were adequate and warm and clean. Good showers and tv, kettle as per normal. As you can imagine with a hotel steeoed in 500yrs of history its a bit of a maze to navigate but after a few goes you realise every thing in close by, restruant, bar, parking. The staff are supererb and friendly, food was very good and as a gluten free person the choice was amazing, try the fish and chips, the cod was fresh and plentiful. Lovely old hotel, clean with great services and very helpfull staff. The music nites are good fun and again the staff better fun. Thansk for looking. After us, will sure stay here if ever in pembroke. Tka from the irish divers

Our stay at the Old Kings Arms, a 16th century coaching inn, was one of the most enjoyable of our recent holiday through Wales. The inn and pub are charming and the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. A good sized car-park at the rear of the building provides free and easy parking for guests. Our room (room 22, a standard double) was in the newer part of the building. It was spacious, extremely clean, and very comfortable. It was a bit plain, but that in no way took from the enjoyment of our stay. We enjoyed a late afternoon drink in the pub as well as a delicious dinner in the restaurant. We spoke at length with the gentleman at the reception desk following dinner, and he even took it upon himself to follow up with some print-outs of information we had discussed and loaned us a full guide book for Pembroke Castle. The included full English breakfast provided us a great start to the day before heading out to explore the amazing Pembroke Castle, which was less than a five minute walk away. We were very sorry that we only had one night here, and will definitely be back some day.

Called in for an unbooked dinner after a dreadful experience down the road. Really welcomed when we entered the lounge. My wife had sea bass with pak choi, dauphinoise potatoes and crab cake. I had the 10oz sirloin with mushrooms and chios, I asked for the tomatoes to be swapped for peas, no problem. Washed down with a nice house red wine. The welcome and service was great and we all had a laugh as well. Thanks very much we loved it

Stayed for 3 Nights . Room was a little Dated , but that wasn't a Bad thing . Very Comfy , Bed ,Bedding were lovly and clean ,well yes to be expected I know. Shower in Bath , was very powerful. Also nice and quiet. The Staff were so friendly , and helpful . Breakfast one of the Best we have had in any Hotel, Try The Omelets. We had 2 Evening Dinners , well can't speak Highly Enough absolutely excellent, Fresh , and The Portions well outstanding , Fish Menu was so excellent as I am not a Meat Eater , I honestly could not fault it one bit , The Chef is Top of his Game . My Husband Gammon was enjoyed, as was his Rump of Lamb. It was so, so, lovly to have Homemade Puddings , Delious, Faultless. Roy lovly to Chat to , and should be very Proud of Team he has. It was a pleasure to stay at Your Inn, Friendly, Comfortable, Food Exceptional, so many Pubs /Hotels are just Generic, with People that haven't got there Heart in what they are doing . Not So with Old Kings Arms Hotel.
